Was hoping to avoid facing Deg looks to be another fun week tho

5 and 6 my time... added it to my schedule. 

I got Foxy in the first match, so probably a 2nd or 3rd place finish. Then I got Forest, ( again... DARN IT )  and deg in the 2nd match, so probably a 3rd place finish there. 

I should be safe for a few more weeks, as long as I don't completely tank. 

I thought I picked 7:00 and 8:00 for Friday?

It came down to madison and I at the end. She was up by quite a bit and I made an awesome comeback but ultimately I blew my chances of defeating her at the end. It was definitely a really fun matchup though.

Report: deg2000 paused the game multiple times, messing people up. I don't think pausing is aloud, so I am hereby reporting deg2000 for cheating. 

thing1 : Sorry to say but pausing is allowed mate besides I had to take an important call and you wouldn't let me thanks a ton thing! If someone needs to use the loo or something they can pause and everyone can be nice and wait it's not that big of a deal and How am I supposed to know it caused lag to everyone. I lagged too so it's not like it was unfair deal with and stop being a sore loser.

deg2000 : I'm not a sore loser. I expected 3rd place finish at best ( which is what I got ), and I even posted that in this thread.

XD Regardless, it gives nobody warning, and it messes people up. That's cheating in my book. I mean, I can see pausing in a 1v1 NetPlay match if you give a heads up, and the other person says OK, but if it's 4 people like we had in a tournament, then yeah, that's not right, no matter the reason. You shouldn't have picked that time then if you thought you might be getting a call ( and if you didn't know you were getting a call, oh well, my point still stands ). 

Regardless, whatever Davideo7 decides on the matter, as I am sure he will be addressing it, I will abide by. But, for the time being, I don't condone pausing in an official NetPlay match, and I won't support it until Davideo7 makes a ruling on it. 

For future reference, it's good for people to get everything done and prepared ahead of time so there doesn't need to be the distraction of pausing. Let your friends and everyone know that you're gonna be busy at a certain time that you commit yourself to and you'll answer them after you're done with it. Pausing isn't against the rules but it is an unnecessary distraction that can easily be resolved with better management.




That's my take on it. I don't care if people do pause or not but I think, out of respect for the tourney and for the players, it's good to get all of that settled ahead of time, making sure you're not distracted during the game that you sign up for.

Emergencies are another thing altogether but this didn't seem the case.

I think pausing should only be done before and after each round, otherwise a user could easily use pausing to their advantage by throwing people off.

Davideo7 : As I think we can tell I didn't try to use it as a way as cheating but as I said there was no need for this drama. And to everyone else I picked that time because I have a filled time schedule and it's the only time I can play this. And the important call was for meeting times for the school I am transferring too :/.

deg2000 : I understand that was important and that's fine I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make it sound like I'm attacking you for what you did because I wasn't. Just stating how I feel things should play out during a tourney.
