Does anyone have any good advice for a steam shop that will make
it actually sell?
I tried and I didn't believe how hard it was, I had a massive order of 35,000 Viz but ever since then I've been down.

I'm not sure how much i can actively help considering i was pretty much the first one to open a "steam store" so to speak.... That's the only reason why my shop was popular. Then other people saw it and did the same thing so you're better off asking the other two for advice.. but honestly. With so many people creating steam game shops now.. It seems a bit redundant now for me... I did it to give games to people who might want them for a currency that is far easier to obtain than currency in reality.

I think the trick is to be patient and make your prices realistic...

Checking your steam store, it's doing fine.

You had kramer buy most of your stuff, so there's little to choose from.

All your shop has is two things I don't want.

Best advice - actually sell something worth buying.

What Sonic said. It can take a lot of patience and realistic prices to get business. Also, have set prices. If you do like I did when I opened a shop again, it probably won't turn out for the best unless you're willing to go low (like I did at first). You might want to start higher (but reasonably high), then reduce your prices/bump your thread if things aren't going well, or sometimes even if they are going well to reward buyers. This may lead to satisfied repeat customers.

Also, be firm. If someone is "lowballing" you, you might want to tell them that you want a bit more without driving them away. If you're polite, people will respect that and might be willing to meet whatever counteroffer you make or raise their offer.

Well, before closing I'd like to offer a short advice:

-Don't sell for unbelievably high price.
-Have patience.
-Don't focus your life or time on the shop. Do it as a hobby and not to specifically aim to earn Viz. I just let time pass by and if anyone wants to buy a game from me, then awesome!
-Don't sell for a high price but buy from others for a very low price. Not necessarily related but it has a negative impact on how people look at you as a seller.
-Add more games

That's all and good luck with your shop.
