Welcome back to another school thread! This is obviously about school, so we'll have a school discussion . Anyway, I just want to say this: I have the luckiest school ever. Why? There are several reasons I would like to talk about, and here there are:

-My school doesn't offer summer school.
-My school doesn't offer finals for the grades, just regular exams.
-My school gives us one week break in October, two week break in December, one in February, two in April, and one in May! That means my school gives the most breaks .
-In case of strikes, my school always closes its doors, which is fun for me . Unlike other schools, such as Kimmeh's.
-In elementary section, you only have half a day on Wednesday and Friday.

   Your school seems like the luckiest school I can think of. It lets you out a lot more than almost all other schools.  
 
   My school is not really lucky since they give us like 5,000 tests near the end of the year and the states give us 5 tests for each. Reading and Math. My school is nice and all but we do not get enough breaks and such I guess.

Well your school is good. My school has like the second highest suspension rate in the state. I've been suspended three times and my friend has been suspended like over twenty times, just because the teachers hate him. Our school is ghetto. Three kids got expelled for smoking weed in the bathroom.Some for walking down the hallway chugging Vodka and saying it's water.

We also get a fair amount of vacation work over the year, though I usually finish mine in less than a day every time. I felt like I also went to a great school for most of my time in school because I had great friends and fantastic teachers, that was until I had to move, then school became hard for me because I had no friends at the new school and I got bullied quite a bit as well. I was tough enough to make it through my last couple of years in school so I could graduate and be done with that place for good. Now thankfully things are much better for me now.

When I was in public school we always got 1 spring break week or two and then we were out for 2 months in summer time. If it ever snowed which was never or bad storms they would send everyone home. I don't guess my school was quite as lucky as some of you guys but it was someplace I could learn until I was ready to quit and start homeschooling. ( That's another Story ).

For example the high school of my senior years only needed 50 percent participation rate to organize activities whereas my previous one needed 70 percent. As it was huge, it had a lot to offer like a fitness room and even movie! At the time, they obtained reels from movies not in theater anymore but not-yet in video - and it wasn't that expensive!.

Finally, my college had an interesting format: 50-minute classes rather than 3-hour classes. It meant the classes were spread-out through he week but I found it much easier to pay attention.

I've never heard of a school anything like that My brother's school has no school for Preschool (first year of school here in the United States) kids every Friday, but they have so few half-days there.

I've almost always liked my school. I haven't almost always liked a lot of the students though XD I got bullied pretty badly in elementary school, and slightly in middle school. In high school, people have mostly left me alone. I've been thankful for a nice school, mostly this year, since we had an emergency tax levy in our district. We tried as hard as we could to encourage people to vote for it to pass and it worked, and many of the students helped out, so I have a pretty spirited school.

They don't offer Summer School? That actually seems pretty bad for those who need it; they automatically get held back.
