Just wanted to know...what is the WORST game you have EVER played? 
  In my opinion, E.T. For the Atari was the WORST. Graphics were horrible, sounds were deafening...and everything was random?

Sauron422416 : The CDI Zelda games they are the only non horror games that I feel legit terror for the only person in those games that will not make me want to destroy my computer is the King and his greatest line of "What's for dinner".

18mlivingston : Yes but, the CDI games were NEVER made by Nintendo and was made by Phillips. The controls are really bad but the game could have been a good one if the controls and quests were changed. 

There are tow games on the SNES - I believe they were action-RPG - that were so terrible 1) I never finished them because of the difficulty level and 2) I don't even remember their names. They proved my theory that good games require good music, and the music WAS terrible.

 Also, my SECOND worst game were the bootlegs for the Sega Genesis.  However, the controls are really bad. And they ripped A LOT of Nintendo things, like characters and titles and art.

I'm gonna go with the Atari 2600 port of Pacman. It is inferior to the arcade version (and all future ports) in every way. The sound was awful. The graphics were just similar enough that you'd know you were playing Pac-Man, but you'd think that it was a cheap replica. First off, the ghosts weren't the right color, secondly,they flicker enough to make your head hurt. The gameplay was janky as well, I remember more than a few times where a ghost would kill me from several pellets away.

There are few (if any) games which I think were more sullied than Atari 2600 Pac-Man.

Beyond that, have you ever used those "101 games in 1" plug and play systems that they sell at the mall? *shudder*

They're mostly clones of old 8-bit titles like Excitebike, Super Mario, and Duck Hunt, but it's so poorly done that the experience is ruined. The controllers feel like they could disintegrate in your hands, the games were filled with glitches, and graphics were often of poor quality.

You know, there are so many outright TERRIBLE games that it's hard to pick one that is definitely the worst, which is almost sad to me.
As it is, I feel compelled to throw in a tie here between Big Rigs Racing, and Bubsy 3D. Both are horrible messes of games where nothing works. Sound, graphics, BASIC GAMEPLAY, it all makes both games practically unplayable. At least other games mentioned function, somewhat. These barely do.

The worst game I've ever played is E.T for the Atari 2600. There's a good reason why many people consider it to be the worst video game of all time. The graphics are terrible even for atari 2600 standards, the game doesn't even follow the story of the movie, and the gameplay is absolutely atrocious. For these reasons, E.T is my least favorite game ever.

Well, Big Rigs was a truck racing game released for the PC a while back. It was an unfinished mess. Your 'opponent' never moves an inch, leaving it not really a race anymore, the graphics are blocky, and you can drive through buildings and the road as though they never existed (which they may as well not). It's broken, and incomplete and will probably stay that way.
Bubsy 3D however, is quote on quote 'finished', and yet it looks like it's still in the Beta testing stage. It also has horrible tank controls (In a platformer!), and it really holds no joy to play. Ever. In fact, it's so bad, they had to lie on their cover about it being good by making up an award and magazine.
