Does this belong in the Music forum?
So, is there a type of music that you don't really like? It can be a type of music or maybe even a song. To me, I think it's gotta be country music. I don't really know, but I think that there aren't really any country songs on the top 10.

I'd rather have my teeth pulled out without anesthetics than listening to rap music. No matter how good the lyrics are (and I've found a few), I just can't stand the repetitive beat. Plus, they don't sing they talk.

To a lesser degree I also hate country music, which is too depressing to appreciate. I appreciate a few of Garth Brook's and Shania Twain's songs, but I otherwise try to avoid the genre.

Finally, I also hate death metal. The guitar can be enjoyable, but the fact that they are screaming rather than singing makes me want to change radio channel.

Mostly country, for me. There's just so much whine in most of the older music, and so much of it is EXACTLY. THE SAME nowadays that I just can't really find much of anything I like to listen to.  I like Alan Jackson's older stuff and that's pretty much it for 'actual' country. I love music, so I will listen to any genre given the opportunity, but I'm with everyone else on disliking country the most. I don't know why I enjoy it as much as the rest. Maybe because its slower than say rap or metal?

I don't like Rap music. The only kind of Rap music I've heard that wasn't bad/inappropriate was Christian Rap. (Thanks to the rapper Lecrae for making me know that not all Rap music is bad! )

The Music Genre that I hate the most was .. Country Music  because the songs about talks about Drinking Beer and Cheating on your boyfriend/girlfriend for someone else and most of all I lived in the United States and every song in Country Music talks about America too much; I know America is the home of Country music and I'm not living in Nashville because Nashville is full of Country Music for example If you were about to go driving and you turn the radio on, Country music is playing on every radio station .....
Another Music Genre that I hate was also Death/Black Metal. The singers sounded like Frogs or someone who just burped after eating a meal in which I mostly can't stand of..... :X

For the most part I'm not very picky about what sort of genre I listen to. I mean, I have at least one song of every genre in my ipod somewhere, including rap.

Every single genre has a ton of music that I hate. There is a lot of music I don't like. As for entire genres, I would say screamo, dubstep, country (I hate country SO MUCH), not to anger anybody but religious music really doesn't do it for me,  and I I really don't like most rap, like 97%.
