Congratulations! You accomplished something far greater than winning the TDV (in my opinion).

As others have already established, you did incredible in the TDV besides the fact, but you submitted a ton of content, that makes the RGR/VGR component of the site look far less empty.

I don't use the RGR or VGR for anything at this point (have no use for either), but it's a huge contribution, and you'll probably continue to submit content like you have for months, regardless of whether or not it is a TDV month.

Think that's way cooler than playing in a competition.

legacyme3 : That's exactly true. What he did during the TdV helps the site out more than what anyone else did during the entire competition. That's one of the main purposes of the TdV, to encourage and reward content.

Yunimori : Congrats on the white banner! You really earned all the points you had. You're one of the top quality posters here.

janus : Congrats on winning the yellow jersey! You really earned all your points as well with so many reviews and quality posts!

zanderlex : Congrats on winning the blue jersey (WOW!!! ), the red jersey, and the TdV! Hopefully now that you're the first to win 2 TdV's, other users will have a chance. I've seen many posts of yours saying you're planning on just going for the blue jersey so I'm not concerned about it yet.

Ferdinand : Congrats on the green jersey! You also earned all your points for sure! Congrats on breaking the record for most points in a jersey, and you're one of the most consistent competitors for a jersey I've ever seen!!

I'm looking forward to the changes being made to the next TdV. I'm in the blue jersey top 10 even though I only tried for 3 days or something like that

EX Palen : If I'm not mistaken, last April which was the other tdv I won, I beat Mmm for the red jersey by either 0 or 1 point. If staff work counted towards red I would have won by a lot more though because I earned over 12k cp last month.

Ferdinand :

I just have too many things to do. Modern games, and various hobbies take up all my time.

I've already played most of the retro games I want, and the few I haven't I will one day.

zanderlex :  1 more point per day is all I would have needed to win the whole thing...

Ferdinand : Wow that's crazy and that definitely would have been doable. Based on the graph, you were probably the most consistent scoring user.

Davideo7 : Yeah I got kind of lucky with that actually. It's very hard for me to predict what my status will be even from day to day sometimes but the stars were aligned just right this month that I didn't have to be away at all. Hopefully next time it'll be the same.

He definitely was, and you can tell that from the graph.

Look at janus's line, then look at zanderlex's, then look at Ferdinand's.

janus scored a lot, but took a lot of days off where he didn't score (roughly 1/3 of the month, he scored nothing).

zanderlex scored nearly every day (missed some at the beginning), but was largely the benefactor of weak end of month competition, where he scored the majority of his points.

Ferdinand scored every day I think, and always seemed to go up a consistent amount. He had about as perfect a month as possible. It's weird to think that if he'd scored 1 more point a day (totally doable, since all it means is making 20 posts (not hard) or writing one big review every 3-5 days (also, not hard), that we'd have a totally different winner.

It doesn't feel like zanderlex even won if I'm being honest (and that's not a slight to him, Ferdinand just owned the TDV).

Ferdinand : I'll be honest, if you tried to get the extra points, it would have most likely came from blue and yellow, which would have meant either an extra hour or two per day, or you would have to make up for that time with less time in green and red. Same went for me as well, I could barely score in green because if I tried, then both yellow and blue would have suffered.

Huh. Well, this is late. Sort of. But congrats to y'all, looks like the competition was FIERCE. 

Still shocked that I got the white banner, considering I was essentially K.O.ed for most of the month. *joys of pneumonia making me not want to do ANYTHING*

BUT ANYWAY. Congrats to the winners, y'all did some MAJOR work there. 

Yunimori : Getting the White Banner is probably the most sacred thing you can get in the TdV because most users only get 1 shot at it since you can only get it within your first 90 days of being a user so veteran users never got a shot at it. Enjoy it

That comment actually has me kind of hoping you bring out a "black" banner, that is only for people who have been around a set amount of time. Like 5+ years.

legacyme3 : I really do think I'll be adding a black banner for the veterans. They deserve it for sticking around this long. You wouldn't qualify for it in the Summer TdV but I think you'd qualify for it in the Fall TdV.

I had plans on adding 2 more banners, if one ends up being the black banner, the other would probably be a banner for the new automated team competition that I plan to launch during the next TdV. Basically if you're on a team that is winning, you get to wear a special banner. Of course there'd be a limit of probably 4 users per a team.

Wow, I revealed too much about my upcoming plans lol but I discussed a lot of this in the private dev forum before. I think I still have a few other things I haven't revealed yet.

As for this late post I do apologize but I always congratulate everyone and  I just now got a chance to do so. You guys are amazing and all deserved the points you got in the competition . Can't wait to see you guys compete in next TDV

Bintsy : It always depends on time available in my hands. I could have "easily" won the red jersey, and maybe more rainbow banners, had I had more time.
