So, I finally bought a PS4. 

I had my XBOX 360 just sitting there, and I hadn't touched it in 3 or 4 months. I had heard about a special trade in at GameStop where I would get $175 trade in value for my XBOX 360 console instead of $55, so I decided to take advantage of it. 

Now, I don't have any games besides the ones that my roommate has ( we borrow each other's games ), but I got The Last of Us bundle since that was the only one they had available for the deal. 

I am sure I have a PSN name, but since I don't have internet yet, those no point in me giving it out, seeing as how I am not even sure it is what I am thinking it is.

Now we'll have to play together sometime. I'll be getting one next month or May, depending on finances around here. At least that's the plan.

Well that's because PlayStation is better than X-Box, from personal experience.
I have both a PS3, and X-Box 360. I have a PS4 and have played on an X-Box One.
And PlayStation is just superior.
This is not meant to start a war, although it probably will.

Anyways, thing, nice! You planning on getting GTA V?

MysteriousPanzer : The only games I'll be getting for the PS4 are PlayStation exclusives. I'm still an XBOX guy. I just hadn't touched my 360 in months, and there was a promotion going on at GameStop for a trade-in towards the 4. I had enough money to the side to make the purchase, so I did. 
I know I'll be getting Gran Turismo 5 mid next month after I pay off my balance for my pre-order of Halo 5: Guardians. 

Eirinn : If I have the game. I'll still be primary an XBOX guy. 

If you have PS+ you can use share play and let a friend join in local multiplayer online even if they don't have the game, so that wouldn't be a problem (assuming you have PS+).

But seriously, you must buy Helldivers.

Eirinn : I'm only getting P4 exclusives for my PS4. If I can get it on ONE, I'll get it on ONE. 
And I plan on getting PS+ because of the free games. 

Honestly, I don't care for MP much. I get games for the campaign / story. Very rarely does MP influence me wanting a game.

Yeah, I'm the same way (largely due to the fact that I don't have anyone to play with), to me multiplayer has always been a side mode. But playing a game in multiplayer mode is cool if I already have it. That's what makes the share play cool is that it enables playing multiplayer without requiring a purchase just for the sake of multiplayer.

And when you say PS4 exclusives, do you mean PS4 exclusive or PlayStation exclusives in general? Like what about PS4/PS3/PSVita cross buy/cross play titles?


Also, I thought you were going to get a PS4 instead of an XBox, or I wouldn't have made the fanboy joke (about selling nineteen million). Sorry about that, didn't mean to be annoying or fanboy gloat.

You are so lucky man, I still have a PlayStation 3, but someday I will upgrade to the PlayStation 4. 

Congratz on getting a PS4! I was wondering, how many games besides the Last of Us do you have for the system? Also what games are you looking forward to buying the most for the PS4?

thing1 : When I get mine, we'll definitely have to play together sometime ( just like about everyone else in here said too ). I think I told you this already, but I am currently putting together all the games I have along with my PS3 and see how much I can get to trade in for one.

Eirinn : I will also let you know when I get a PS4, since it sounds like you have no one else to play with XD I'll also have my brother with me so maybe we could all play together sometime. My brother and I have been looking for someone else for a while.

thing1 : That awesome! But I thought the Xbox was considered the "dark side" since the PlayStation came out before Xbox, but whatever. Enjoy that beast! Should be getting mine very soon, I can not wait.

Also, do not bother getting GTA V especially if you do not like multiplayer. Game is garbage and is filled with exploits and hacks, which is a real shame...

Eirinn : Naw, I'vve had the XBOX ONE since Black Friday 2014. I just traded in the 360 for a PS4 mostly because of the limited time trade in special towards the PS4 or XBOX ONE. I got an extra $120 trade in value, so I was like... eh... I got enough in savings. Why the heck not? 

kirbmanboggle : If it's free, then I'll get it. I plan on getting the PlayStation+ just for the free games. 

HydraDragon50000 : I plan on getting a PS3 eventually. There are a few titles, mainly God of War, that I want to play, so since they aren't out on PS3, I may try to find a limited edition God of War PS3. 
And I found out that Gran Turismo wasn't on PS4, so that made me pretty upset. 

gamerforlifeforever2 : I don't have many games for it besides that one. I mostly just plan on getting a few games here and there, and borrowing my roommates' games. That's what we do, is share games for the PS4 and XBOX ONE. I did buy Air Conflict: Vietnam today though. Played through the first 2 missions on the American's side of the story today, and was impressed enough to be be upset at myself for having bought it. 

MattyIce : Well, do it in the next day or two so you can get that trade in special I was talking about. 

Kruzer : I actually didn't mind it on the 360. If I got it, I would prefer it to be on the ONE, that way I can get another 650+ G towards my GamerScore. But, if blastife wants to give it to me for free, I'll take the trophies.
