Ok, as all of you know that tomorrow (March 14th), it happens to be known as "Pi Day", but what makes this year's Pi Day different than any other year on March 14th, well, take to the matter of fact that this year is 2015. And look at the number of pi which is 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169........ and look at the first 5 digits of pi which is 3.1415, and that is the date (if you go by the Month/Day/Year format) of March 14th, '15, and tomorrow happens to be March 14th, 2015.
But if you go further with the first 10 digits of pi, the time will be at 9:26:53 A.M. which will occur in the morning time.

So, the biggest Pi Day in the century will occur on March 14th, 2015 at 9:26:53 A.M.

I kind of find it cool that there's going to be some sort of an ultimate pie day though I have never personally seen it celebrated in any of my schools ever, there were always some sorts of rumors about pi and stuff but I never got to see any of it.

My school has a pi day competition, but the same girl wins every year. She knows 700 digits and counting.

Off the top of my head I know 3.14159265358979323846263383. That's only 27 digits.

ahhhh Pi day. I never remember Pi Day but this seems like a very special one to a lot of people. Too bad I do not celebrate Pi Day very much. The only time I even remotely celebrating Pi Day was when I was in 6th grade and my math teacher celebrated. We did something a bit special in class that day but nothing too special.
 
 Too bad nobody even knows it is Pi Day today. Only people who see this thread will go and say hey it is Pi Day. Oh well it seems like this holiday will only be and stay one that only math teachers really celebrate.

Pi Day is Awesome! I'm going to definately have Pie, and celebrate one of my favorite classes- Math. I so wish they celebrated this in schools. Had the kids do some awesome math things... I guess I'm a nerd? I looked forward to Algebra, pre-Algebra, and all the others. If I wasn't held behind due to being sick. I would have been in Calculus.

A lot of people notice that it's Pi day as long as they have the date on there mind, and know the Pi number- 3.14. Of coarse I stay close to nerds, so your probably more right then I think you are.

I found out that the 14th is pi day from my brother yesterday so my family decided to make a pie today, not necessarily because of the holiday.... but because pie tastes good . We made a peanut butter pie, my brother's peanut butter pies are pretty good, and we put a pi symbol made of whipped cream that had red food dye in it. In the end... it didn't really look like a pi symbol... but the pie still tasted okay.
