What sort of devices do you play your music on? It doesn't matter if it involves physical or strictly digital media. For myself, I play music on a wide variety of devices. When I'm at home, I usually listen through my Hi-Fi system that has many devices hooked up to it (turntable, tape deck, CD, etc.) or on my laptop for internet radio. On the go, I use my modified iPod Mini with a 16GB flash memory upgrade running Rockbox (a modified firmware that no longer necessitates iTunes).

I don't have an mp3 player, so most of my music gets played on my laptop (when doing so doesn't overheat it) or on my batman CD player boombox...thing. It's shaped like a batarang. XD

Of course, I also have a MASSIVE stack of vinyl that I play on this neat suitcase record player my parents got for me a few Christmases ago. I collect musical and Disney soundtracks, so I have quite a few on top of the old rock and roll and opera records that I've managed to amass over the years. Everyone has to put up with me listening to Aristocats quite a bit, I'm afraid.

There IS an actual BOOM BOX that looks funky  -- just google Batman Boombox and it should be the second image result -- but this is just a CD player, so it's a bit more streamlined. Still looks like a batarang to me, though. The other thing looks like a boppy pillow. XD

zanderlex : I had a Snadisk Sansa Clip as my first portable media player. Used it practically everyday until it wouldn't transfer to my PC anymore. Filled up that 2GB pretty quick. Loved the OLED matrix on that thing.

Clayton2: I think that might be the one I have, I have the blue one. I had it for so long its very broken. The clip on the back broke way back in May but that was because I was really nervous about something and fiddling with it. Unless I hold the headphone wire, only the left side of the headphones will play, and the music and functions work fine, but every now and then, the screen will just go black and stay like that.

Because I had so many problems with ITunes, I simply kept Zunes and dropped the other one. It was a practical move to make since I have a Windows Phone, with which Zunes synchronizes music.

However, I long for ITunes. The presentation is much more user-friendly and the screen follows the active track that's playing. Zune, on its side, stands still and I find that annoying.

Ever since I've had an iPhone which I think has been at least the last 5 years, my music is being played on my phone. As of right now I have a Samsung Galaxy note 4 ( I think that's what its called ). I love the quality because its very consistent. Its been a real long time since I've used my boom box, or my little radio to play my music.
