I never played Diamond, just Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold and Silver.

As for RPG recommendations, I haven't played many since Final Fantasy burned me out on them. However some that I have enjoyed were:
- Lufia - Ruins of Lore. best I've played in recent years probably. One cool feature is that you can actually capture some monsters and they'll join your party. Kind of like Pokèmon there, but that isn't too big of a focal point in the game as far as I see (haven't finished yet).

- Zoids Legacy. Mostly RPG, but a little RTS as well. This one is just as good as Lufia, but it's not as classic RPG style as Lufia.

- Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. Great RPG, as is any Mario RPG.

- Paper Mario. Great game, but I have had some emulation issues with it.

- Super Mario RPG: Legend of The Seven Stars. Another good one, but this one has some issues on Vizzed as well. They can be worked around, but I'm not sure how.

- Tales of Phantasia (GBA version, not SNES version).

Those are all of my RPG recommendations that are on Vizzed for now. Let me kbow what you think if you try them.

What's the difference in playing between RPG and action/adventure? I think so far, I really like shooting games (only played a little) and I like some old games like brotherhood of the blade.

In a rpg, you go into battle kinda taking turns doing damage. I'm not a huge fan of the first person shooter games, but I did enjoy the metroid prime series. Also a fan of older games, such as pacman world 1 the original megaman series. Yet I still can appreciate the beauty and graphics of some of the most modern games as well.
