From about 5-11 years old i was scared of going downstairs at night(for like food or somethin). Like i go down not carin...get what i need...when i try to go back to bed its like someone is followin me and i would always run as fast as i could and keep checkin corners lol

Hey!! How are you?? I use to be afraid of dogs until I was ten!! But now I have a really cute dog !! But what I am still afraid of & I am 21 btw, I'm still afraid of the dark!! & I'm also afraid of rodents such as mice & rats!! There is also several t.v. logos that I might be afraid of( that's actually pretty much the whole reason why I'm afraid of the dark because I be's thinking those scary t.v. logos) You know how at the end of a show there would be logos such as 20th century, warner bros, & paramount. Well there may be some t.v. logos that I'm scared of such as Vin Di Bona(from america's funniest home videos), & always viacom, & columbia pictures(especially the columbia pictures from the early 90's). There are also logos that I'm scared of that I have learned on youtube since last year such as WGBH!!

But anyways we won't let those things affect our lives, right??

I was and still am deathly afraid of jumping from heights. like i can climb up a hill no problem but coming down i cant do it.

When I was a kid I was afraid of the dark. I thought that a ninja would hide behind the curtains and then attack me hehe! I think being scared of the dark is a rational fear. As it is the unknown that we are faced with, so every conceivable scary being could be in the room and you can't see it, or know what its up to.

i was never really afraid of much... from around age seven i was staying home at night alone while both my parents worked third shift.

i have always been afraid of heights and flying though. i sometimes used to be afraid to go in the woods alone at night.

and since i've grown up i've developed a fear of the ocean (thats strange i know) its just i dont like the idea of being close to something that can kill me and i cant do anything about it.

i guess thats about it... well spiders and some other kinds of bugs... not snakes tho

when I was little I was Scared of thundestorms because of the thunder and lightning. I don't know why I was scared of it.

Well, i dunno if somebody already wrote that, but i was freaking scared of the clown in Steven Kings´" IT "...saw the movie the first time when i was 10 and after that i had nightmares for 2 weeks !!!

Till today i don´t like clowns that much !

I was scared of the dark,When i was 6 i saw the Movie The Gruge or something,And oh god i never watched a horror movie after that(But i saw the Trailer of the grudge 2 on my friends psp,lol)

That clown scared the crap out of me.

I wasn't scared of much as a kid, but I didn't like walking around in the dark because my dad would like to hide in it and scare me!

Spiders... I was really afraid of spiders... Now I don't care about them, as long as they are not on me.

I've always hated spiders, but I hate bees even more.

i was always getting scared in stores when i got seperated from my parents. I would have massive anxiety attacks and freak out haha, glad thats over.

I was scared of my own shadow ( a metaphor for everything ), now I am just scared of heights

I was scared of heights and terrified of roller coasters, till one day I grew out of my shell and hopped on one. I loved them ever since and began to not be scared of heights, it's more of a fear of falling. If I'm safely up high then I have no worries but if I'm not I am precautious and have a little fear inside me. I worked on roofs so I learned to overcome this and deal with it but know my fear is still there.

I used to be afraid of the dark, which is fairly common for most children. I was also afraid of zombies and ghosts. The zombies came about because I watched the original Night of the Living Dead when I was 5. The fear of ghosts came about because of an experience I had playing hide and seek at a haunted house which scared the living crap out of me and had me scared of ghosts for a good long time. Thankfully I am past that point and will most likely even be going to a friends house sometime soon to try and find capture some data to determine if it is haunted.

I´ve never had those kind of darkness frights or anything like that most likely because I was able to grasp pretty complex ideas at an early age and had (and still have) a older brother who spends a lot of time with me and is studying science, and he´s always taught me crap and such, however I had one fear and I still do, a fear of dogs.

I often get attacked by dogs and I really dunno why... but as a child I think it may have had some traumatic impact on me or something since I´ve developed a phobia of dogs, if I see a dog on a leash with its master walking it when I will not walk past them but go around them at least being like 25+ meters away from the dog, I´ve learned to recognize the signs of a dog being aggressive now but I still can´t pass or stand dogs, even a recent thing is when some puppy came walking towards me stumbling since it had just learned to walk and I ran up a tree.

So yeah, as a kid I was afraid of dogs and I became a bit scared of the dark but only outside because I realized I´d notice a dog later if it was stalking me so I´d most likely not manage to run with my short legs before it got me, now however I´m past that, I´m too big to feel that dogs are life threatening so if one attacks me at night I think I could fend it off or outrun it by going to places that require climbing.

To me your fear is strange becaus i've been around dogs my whole life but i can understand why you are afraid of them.

When I was really little, I was terrified of cats and dogs, because they were the same size of me. I love them now.

When I was a child I was afraid of Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street. *sudders* When my older brothers would watch that movie I wouldn't sleep for days. O_o
