This topic is a simple one. Which video game character is your absolute favorite? Mine would probably go to Red from the Pokemon series. Something about him just screams out to me, and his design is epic. The Pokemon he uses can totally dominate you easily.

LunarDarkness2 : Definitely Luigi from the Super Mario series. He's very funny, he's tall, his jump is higher than his brother, he's green () etc... I love his quote saying 'I'm a Luigi number one!'. So, that could explain why I signed here on Vizzed with the user name 'greenluigi'. . His design is cool.

LunarDarkness2 : My answer to this question has changed many a time, from pacman to donkey kong, mario, sonic, kirby...well you get the idea! Right now my reigning favorite is megaman. There have been several takes on him from robot to cyber being to even a radio wave being that can merge with a human to become megaman. But no matter how they change him, he is always super cool. Think about it, he has a cool gun for an arm much like samus aran, jumps better than donkey kong! He's got a dog that helps him much like mario's yoshi, and has the amazing ability to use his enemies weapons against them much like kirby. If you ask me, that's a lot of power mixed into one character!

Ugh... Alright, I have an answer. After much thinking, I suppose I'll settle with Brandon Heat from Gungrave, A.K.A. Beyond the Grave.

I know he fits the cliché of the 'strong, silent type', but he is so much more than that. Poop, I just realized I can't accurately describe him without some spoilers... Well, the game has been out since 2002, and the anime has been out since 2003. So...

*Minor Spoilers Ahead!*

I guess my favorite thing about him is, the fact that he becomes the mafia's best 'Sweeper' and kills so many people, and becomes the best at it, but doesn't do it for pleasure or money. He simply wants to be close to his best friend. All these people's lives don't matter, only his loyalty to his best friend. AND this is the good guy! Horrible, horrible, bad stuff happens, I'm crying every episode, good stuff.

I know I referenced mostly from the anime, but it was a video game first. Even had a sequel in 2003. Own both games and the anime, love everything.

My favorite character is serge from Chrono Cross. A guy who gets punches from fate who is trying to kill him, got is body stolen from lynx, and went thou a parallel world to save the planet. On top of all that he was happy the whole time.
