Hi, people from the land of V! Green here with another thready. This time, we will talk about mainly the Animatronics. One of our biggest mysteries in the whole series is why do the Animatronics want to kill you. It's still unclear. So, have you ever wondered WHY? I do not know the answer, too, but I'll share my best details to you. According to Phone Guy from the first game, the reason why is because they think you're a naked Endoskeleton. However, I have to disagree. Why? There's a naked Endoskeleton seen on the Backstage camera, and Bonnie passes there. So, why Bonnie would do nothing when seeing the Endoskeleton? I'm pretty sure there's another reason. According to Phone Guy from the second game, he said according to their data bases, they scan you as a 'criminal'. I disagree because the murderer was arrested. Well, my theory is ever since the children got murdered, they started to hate adults and lose respect. They want to kill the security guard in addition because Purple Man was wearing a yellow badge, meaning that he was a previous security guard. So, Jeremy and Mike both have that badge, that means they think you're an assistant to Purple Man. So, for me, the reasons why is because:

-Discreptfulness of adults.
-Mistakes for being an assistant.

I actually agree with your theory of why the animatronics kill you. I'm pretty sure it has to do something about the souls of the children getting angry and wanting revenge or something. Thanks for making this thread!

Yea complete revenge is what the 4 children are seeking out the purple guy *cough* *cough* phone guy *cough* but I don't think they just hated adults in general, but went seeking for the man with a badge the one who murdered them in cold blood, and assuming you're the one they're after cause you have a badge and also it's just kids souls and I may be wrong "don't quote me on this" but didn't the murderer hide in a golden Freddy suit? -as information given from game theorists-  Anyway that's just my little say, other than that I agree, but we never know, we might be completely off the grid lol. It's not a bad theory though, nice job.
