I made a thread before on how I liked nintendo so much better than any of the other systems, because i felt that their games are better. But perhaps if one were to show me that there were just as many good games on other consoles, maybe I could be persuaded to get one of these other systems. There are a few requests that I would like to make:

No first person shooters (not unless it would be metroid, megaman, transforomers, or some other non gory bot or creature shooting game)
No magic, wizards and the like.
last of all, no sports or racing (unless it's kart racing)

I already know of a couple games on xbox, like minecraft, megaman, and geometry wars, but not much of anything for the playstation.


P.s. If it's super good, i will give you 3000 Viz per game!

Edit: Forgot to mention that I basically meant I could not find anything AFTER ps2 on the ps side. Really, it would have to be not just one or two, but enough to make me want to try it.

Honestly? You'd better stick with Nintendo and get an at-least-decent PC, as most multiplatform/indie games perform better on PC for a cheaper price. You'd still be missing some great Japanese non-Nintendo games, though, as the big companies over there have a weird aversion to the PC platform and downloadable games...

The PlayStation side of gaming is very kid friendly.

alexanyways : All right, I forgot to mention that I really was only looking after Ps2 on the ps side. I had a ps2 and know what a great system it was. It combines Ps1 games with its own, so there is a lot to try out. For ps3 suggestions, Ratchet and clank sound good, as does the stardust one. What are those about? Nothing for ps4. Psp: Bomberman, sonic, and Bubble Bobble sound good. (I also know of a megaman game on here) Ps vita: Just the Stardust delta game.
