In this competition you need to record as much Video Game Room gameplay as you can. Games that exist in the Retro Game Room don't count, only games that aren't playable count! This includes PC, Xbox One, Playstation 3, 3DS, Dreamcast, etc... pretty much anything that isn't in the RGR. Whoever records and uploads the most VGR gameplay to the Vizzed YouTube account between January 1st and March 1st wins.

Prizes:
The prize amount will be based on how many total seconds have been recorded among all users. At any time, you can find out that number in the above 'Current Rank' url. Keep in mind that when you upload a video it can take up to 48 hours before you get credit.

Rules:
-Only videos uploaded after 1/1/2015 count
-You can submit as many videos as you'd like
-Videos must be good qualify, otherwise they will not count
-If you upload a video that isn't your own, you will be banned
-The video should be exclusive to the Vizzed account (cannot be on another account)
-Your video must maintain a rating of 3 or higher on vizzed to qualify
-Videos can be any length
-No more than 12 hours worth of videos per a game
-Your videos must be uploaded to the Vizzed YouTube account
-You can record your video with anny external program like Camtasia (recommended), Xsplit (Broadcast > Local recording), Camstudio, or Hypercam
-You can upload streams but you must edit out non gameplay
-Your video cannot contain more than 2% idling (moments when you're not playing)
-You must add at least 1 additional keyword to at least half of your submitted videos in order to qualify for a cash prize
-Your video cannot show too many failed attempts on a single level, course, location or battle (if you're taking too long to beat a level for example, edit the video and cut out most of or all of the failed attempts)


Payout:
The cash Prizes can be paid out in a few ways. I can purchase a membership on a website for you somewhere, I can order something for you off of amazon, I can send you the money via Paypal, I can buy you Microsoft Points, Nintendo Points or Playstation Points and send you the code, I can buy you an Amazon gift card and send you the code, etc.


Missing Games:
If we're missing games in the VGR then please PM the RGR Staff and they'll work on getting the missing games added as soon as possible.


Resources:
You can also download roms and emulators of games that don't exist in the RGR and record videos of those with your computer. If you have an XBox One or a Playstation 4, they have built in video recording abilities so you can use those as well. If you have capture software then you can use it to record your PC games. If you have external capture hardware, you can use it to record most other systems.

Some recording programs you can use include:

-Xsplit (Broadcast > Local recording)
-Camstudio
-Hypercam
-Plenty of other programs out there


TIP:
Use Freemake Video Convertor to reduce the size of your videos before uploading if your video is very large.

TIP 2:
You may use the built in recording capabilities of emulators. Most emulators have this ability and they usually output a very high quality video but sometimes the videos may be uncompressed and very large and in those situations you'll want to use some sort of software to compress them if you don't have fast enough internet to upload large video files.

Davideo7 : So apparently there's a giant problem with my account for some reason. First off, i'm pretty sure I should have a lot more than 0 seconds because there have been a few videos that have been uploaded and processed in January. Here are the links to those.

Right there is 3 hours of video and those 3 have dissapeared from the games page though I have already been credited for them.

On top of that, I still have about 23 videos waiting to be credited for, though all those videos are already up and have even been viewed a bit on the Youtube page, but does not show up on the Games page.

Spidey243 : Oh, that's easy then. Videos don't get credited immediately the way screenshots do. You just have to wait. As rule of thumb, wait 1 week before lodging any complaints with Davideo7 or Play4Fun about youtube.com videos. Make sure you save a copy of each video page link to a note on your computer. If the problem persists, provide Davideo7 with those links the way zanderlex has above. We have all suffered these difficulties. It is not just you.

Hey David, are cutscenes permitted in this competition? I'm probably gonna do Crisis Core again, but, I don't wanna cheat. I ask because that game is filled with cutscenes.

Davideo7 : Oh, that's okay.I found out the problem.I just forgot to compress the video with Freemake.It works perfectly now.

This is great, I know that only half of the videos can count for this since its more than 12 hours, but just being able to get the credit for those after weeks is enough for me. Time to start working on some more.

Hopefully I can hit 80,000 seconds after today, I just bulk uploaded 10 Smite Videos today, and I plan on doing some more later, though it's a shame I can only upload from my school since uploading using my own hotspot takes 30 times longer.

I'd like to remake one of my submissions, is that okay? It's for Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy. I want to remake it because the video was pulled after I uploaded it, and I realized why, I showed the ending, and that's a no no to Square-Enix.

At this rate, we might not even end up hitting 500K seconds, people keep losing seconds every single day. I was about this close to giving up because I had 8 videos uncredited after 2 days, so I went to the game page to see how many videos werent there but they were all there and I got the credit as I was looking at the page.

An update I made yesterday resulted into inaccurate times for the videos. Basically anything that was over an hour was showing as being less than an hour long. It'll take up to a day for all of the videos to be fixed. Tomorrow the time shown on the results page will be way higher than it is now.

Davideo7 : David, I'd love to enter this MEGA Video Competition. I know I'm late, but I hope I can catch up to the highest place possible. I feel more comfortable using emulators because they are free. Also, it is easier to record with them. Happy filming!

I feel like I'm having quite the issue with uploading my videos. I'm trying to upload my videos overnight, and so far two out of three times, when the upload looks like it's finished, the page doesn't say that the upload was successful, it just goes back to the upload page. Does anyone know why this happens?

EDIT: Just as a follow up to what I've said before, I've noticed that the URL says 'status=400&error=TOKEN_EXPIRED' at the end when it goes back to the upload page. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?
