Hey, I guess I'm fairly new here. I was going to post my newbie-ness earlier, but I had been trying to set up a profile pic deal... Since I spent, like, 3 hours trying and still can't manage to... I'm just going to post anyways. Well, this is probably longer than most newbie posts... But I didn't want to just say 'Hi!' and whatnot... So... Uh... Hi! ... ... And whatnot...

Welcome to Vizzed your newbieness Starr! No offense on the newbieness joke, you just seem to have a sense of humor so I thought "why not go for a joke", though more often than not I'm the only one who laughs at my jokes...I wonder why that is? Odd...

Anyway, hopefully you're enjoying yourself thus far. If I may ask, what brought you to Vizzed? Were you looking for a specific game?

What brought me to Vizzed? No game in particular. I just used to frequent other Emulator sites, but they kept getting shut down, then just kind of found this site. I was all like, "How come this isn't shut down? Viz points? What the heck are those? Wait, I'm out already? Oh, I see... We "rent" games with these... That makes it legal, right? Right? Freaking sweet!"!

Or something like that. I may have paraphrased. I was playing a lot of GBA games, then I discovered the N64 Emulator... And that it actually works! So... Yeah, gonna play some old school RPGs, tactical whatevers, card mabobbers, and et ceteras...  

Oh, and of course I don't take offense Eirinn, I'm, like, super tolerant and way totally cool (I hope... Am I? Oh, my gosh... Am I!?... *sobs*).

Hey, I want to say, Welcome to Vizzed, I hope you find this wonderful site very interesting. We got a really great community and we also have a great selection of games in the Retro Game Room. I hope you enjoy your time on the site.

Yeah, I have been enjoying all the games in the Retro Game Room. There are so many I've always wanted to play, or have already played years ago, and want to still play! This is probably the best collection of games I've seen. Even tried some of the hacks, just for fun. And I love the English translated games from Japan, so many games I wanted to play, but can't understand them... Although that hasn't stopped me from playing some games.

I had played this super awful mashed up translation of a Dragon Ball Z game. I was able to understand how to fight, by remembering what kanji symbol does what attack, but the dialogue was, no joke, a third English, a third Japanese, and a third French. Super fun game though.

But luckily, I haven't run into any games that poorly translated here, I'm sure they have people who test the games before they put it on the site. So, yeah, having so much fun on here, and thanks again for the welcomes.

And I just realized I leveled up from posting on the thread I created. Sweet! (Although, I'm not 100% sure what levels are for, probably to gain membership status and whatnot...)

For someone who has, like, never posted anything ever on a Forum, until here, I type a lot... Sorry for making you read all this... I like commas.

F. Starr : Welcome to Vizzed, F Star! Unfortunately, you can't have a Profile Pic unless your rank is at least 'Member'. The question is, how do you become a member? Be active on Vizzed for at least one week, and make at least 10 posts. There's lots of cool forums here, that means you can talk about.... ANYTHING! If you have no interest on posting, don't leave the Land of V, there's also a RGR, where you can play many Nostalgic games. Yeah, this site is fairly addictive.
