I would have to say the minigame hubworld on the Minecraft server, it's just perfect, how it links all the games together in a wonderful, colorful fashion. (Then I got stuck out there, and jumping off 100 times wasn't fun. . . . . or was it. . . . Still can't make it to that little island. Ugh! )

Em fixed that though. XD

What did you guys like creating the most?

As a finished product?

There's so many cool creations we've made on the server.

We actually had to make a hub with TPs to all of them - and that was almost six months ago.

I think my favorite, simply for it's wow-factor while creating it, was the giant Volcano we made.

We started somewhere around 3am with only an idea.

When it started to come together we pulled an all-nighter to finish.

mrfe had the brilliant of idea of throwing up some Lord of the Rings references. They still make me laugh.



This is the top of the volcano. The ledge lets you go perhaps a 1/4 of the way in. It's a joke on the server that all server marriages take place here. Pokefreak ended up getting married here 3-4 times. The reception was on fire.



This is the view from directly above. The symmetry and lava spewing down the sides makes it look incredible.



The entrance to the ledge is littered with Lord of the Rings references.

There's also a lot of extra pressure to say "I do" when you're standing on a thin ledge above a lot of lava.

You don't want to upset the bride/groom.

Though I think in one of the marriages someone fell off and the wedding had to be canceled.

EideticMemory : I bet it would be really tough to leave someone at the alter up there. So where exactly is this place and do you plan on toping it?

It's in Vizzed Ville, near the coordinates: -87, 65, 1287.

Here's a picture of it on the Vizzed Map: (look at the bottom-left of the picture)



If you look at it closely, the Volcano is as large (or possibly larger) than the first Vizzed Ville island.

EideticMemory : Wow, it looks like it can cover the main island AND the water on both sides.

They created Minecraft. Then they sold it to Microsoft. I'll never forgive them.

jk jk Love you guys. That Devil's Nightmare thing looked pretty sweet, although I couldn't participate. Hope to participate in one of your events sometime! (although I don't play Minecraft often).

Ah, I do remember that volcano. The first time I saw that, I thought it was a typical volcano. Then I saw the Lord of the Rings references and that made my day

Now, I can't really decide which creation was the best between that and Devil's Nightmare :/

Devil's Nightmare did take a lot longer to build than the volcano. Also it took more thinking and planning. That's not to say the Volcano didn't either. Getting that exact shape for the volcano took a lot of thinking and some luck.

I posted the Volcano as it's easiest to appreciate and was slightly more fun to create. Devil's Nightmare usually takes a few playthroughs to appreciate and see how well it came together.

We're planning on releasing Devil's Nightmare part 2 in a few weeks. That should solve your dilemma.

It's turning out to be much better than both DN part 1 and the Volcano.

Thanks for all the time you put into your post, and the pictures. I really do appreciate it, and it makes me want to go there, I just don't have much to say at the moment. May post again here later though.

Just for the WOW factor, I agree with EM. The Volcano is definitely our most eye-popping creation, and the various LoTR references help add a bit of humor to it as well. xD

I think I've had the most fun with Devil's Nightmare (pt.1), however. It was really fun to build, and I've been amused for hours upon hours while watching others experience it. Specifically, Laian's playthrough was fantastic.

I'd say about 40% of my motivation for part II has come from the idea of seeing another one of Laian's playthroughs.

I might have to change my vote to the new Devils Nightmare if it is as awesome as it sounds, can't wait to test it out and most likely fail.

Devil's Nightmare 2 for sure.

Had a good mix of humor, challenge and trolls, some parts were really hard to get past, and it felt great to finally beat it.
