Ok guys & girls we are here to discuss college football in all it's glory or lack there of. I love watching college football myself, at times more than the NFL pro games. Has to be just the on the edge of your seat excitement that seems to ooze out of every game through the season. Those of us that do watch it have our favorite teams and our hated rivals. I wanted to ask all of you a few questions about college football .. So without further rambling, here are the questions : 
1. Who are your favorite teams and most hated rivals ?
2. What did you think of the way they handled the bowl games and the ratings for the teams this year ?
3. Do you think the NFL could learn a few things from college football or maybe the other way around ?
4. What conference do you consider to be the strongest and which is the weakest ?

I don't know if you'll get much draw.  A majority of people on this website don't care for sports in general, except maybe wrestling, and the majority of football conversation leads to the No Fun League and not college footbal.

I'll take college football every time.  So, with no further ado, I'll answer your questions and see if some conversation can be sparked.

1.  My teams are Michigan State, Hawaii, and South Carolina.  I don't have any team I hate in particular, except Florida when Tebow was there.  I like the good guy and bad guy routines with different schools but it doesn't extend to 'hate.'  I can't take sports that seriously.

2.  I thought TCU would have done better in the CFP compared to Florida State and the Horned Frogs should have had the shot to play Oregon.  SInce they blew up Ole Miss, they made their point.  But they don't get it back.   And I think 39 bowl games are too many but the ad and tv revenue keep the NCAA moving so whatever pays for my entertainment is fine.

3.  I think the NFL needs to adopt the NCAA's overtime rules.  They make sense and they're entertaining.  Otherwise, keep the teams different.  The NFL plays at a level way above college kids' abilities so they are literally two different sports.

4.  Are we talking conferences in D1 or across the board?  I'd go to some D3 conference like Big Sky or Ivy League if all conferences were available.  But the big ones?  Even if the SEC lost a number of bowl games I think they're still the best from top to bottom.  If the WAC is still around, they suck.

My favorite college teams are Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs and LSU. I also respect Florida Gators 
The college team I hate with a passion would be the  Tennessee Volunteers I hate hate hate Tennessee. 

Well I really think TCU got robbed yes they went to a top bowl game. However they should have been in the top 4. To me the top 4 rankings should have been Alabama, Oregon, TCU, and Ohio. 

I really don't think the NFL could learn anything because the NFL plays different than college and it is a major step up above college. 

I think the strongest conferences are the Pac 12, and SEC. The Big 10 is on its way up there too but Ohio was the only team that really stood out in that conference. The weakest conference I would say would be the American conference (used to be Big East conference) a lot of those teams were not very good.

I don't really like college football at all. I love regular football and I even watched a few High School football champiopnships, but I just can't seem to find the interest to watch it. I never watched a single college football match or really paid any attention to it.

Normally, I don't really watch collage football because I'm not really into it versus the NFL, because especially if you live in a NFL city, you more pay attention to the NFL more than collage football, unless it's the championship or a bowl game.

Now to answer your questions my favorite college football team I guess would have to be Ohio State even though I'm not a diehard fan and because of that my most hated rival is Michigan. As far as the way that the bowl games and ratings were handled I thought they were handled wonderfully. Also for the first time, I can truly say that the best team won because of the new playoff format. That's been long overdue. For your 3rd question I say that the NFL shouldn't adopt the NCAA overtime rules because NCAA overtime ends to quickly in my opinion. If the NFL should do anything to their OT they should change the TD rule from ending the game immediately to giving the other team a chance to score. As for your final question The strongest conference would have to be the Big 10 and the weakest would be the Sun Belt.

Well I'm an Ohio State Buckeye fan and our most hated rival is that team up north (Michigan Wolverines)
I think they did a fine job with the way they set up the playoff system. Yes we will always have those school that say the should of been in it but no matter what system is used is gonna be that way.
No don't change anything about either college or pros they are both fine the way they are.
