You'll pick 'Preseason' and choose 'Man' vs 'Man'. Keep all the settings set to default, which includes 6 minute Quarters. The home player is the one who creates the session, they'll be player 1 and they get to pick their team first.

Davideo7 : We meet again...I'm excited to see what you have for me this time. Our last game went down to the wire, and I'm sure this one will be no different.

Here is my availability for the week...

megamanmaniac : Sounds good. I should be around most of this weekend. Tonight I'm not going to be home till about 9pm central time, but if you want to fit it in then, we could do that.

Otherwise Saturday's looking good. I am available after about 3pm on Saturday and Sunday I can be available between 2pm and 8pm central time.

megamanmaniac : Yeap the losers of this week face off to see who gets 3rd and 4th overall next week.

Based on your times, it looks 2 PM Tuesday would be the soonest we could play each other. How does that sound?

Davideo7 : I forgot to mention in my last post that all my times are eastern time zone. With that said, 2PM central time is 3PM my time, which would mean I should already be at work by then on Tuesday.

If you want, we can try and get it over with tonight. I can leave work a little early, and try to get back before 8PM central time. I'll try to get back around 7:30PM central time so we have a half hour to get our game in. I am leaving for work as we speak, so I probably won't see your response to this post. I will try to get back at 7:30PM central time, and we'll go from there.

If you wait in the Netplay lobby, I might be able to catch you.

MattyIce : Sure, we can shoot shoot for tonight, 7:30 PM central my time. I can stick around even until 8:30 PM central time but I have stuff to do at 9 PM central.

Davideo7 : My shop was really slow tonight, so I was able to leave early. If you get this soon enough, I am online and I'll be in the netplay lobby for at least the next hour, if you want to play our match.

MattyIce : Ok I'll meet you in the lobby in just a few minutes.

MattyIce beat me 28 to 7. It started out as a good game, I stopped him on his first drive and scored the first TD. It was 7 to 7 going into half time but then I went down hill and he pretty much had 28 unanswered points. I can't blame my losing on anything, I had no unfair turnovers, he just played way better than me.

megamanmaniac : Hey, just wanted to check to see when you were going to be around this week since you were busy over the weekend. Today is pretty much the best day for us to play. (ALL TIMES CENTRAL)

megamanmaniac : Had our playoff match today.

He chose Philly, I chose Arizona. It was a hard fought game that I WON 23-10

The first half was hard fought. I won the coin toss and received but I wound up fumbling around mid-field on my first drive that set mega up for a wonderful opportunity to score, but my defense held strong and he only got 3 out of the trip.

I held him scoreless from the rest of the first half. A half that also featured a safety for my defense after a failed 4th down attempt to score a rushing TD. At half I led 9-3

He got me a little worried to start the 2nd half with a fairly quick drive down for 7 points. I responded in kind with a long drive that put me in the lead for good. In the end I won off of the strength of my rushing attack and my defense. Was a great game. I had a lot of fun.
