Which one of the two systems should i get next month? i cant decide

i will count up every post for each system that get that one

I feel that you should get the ps4 because to me there's a better choice of games and I feel that in the long run, you would save some money.

For my pick, I would easily go with the PlayStation 4 because do happen to like the Playstation more than Xbox because I think the PS4 got a lot more selection and a lot more interesting games to try out and it's a little bit cheaper than the XBone.

Please bear in mind that the following reply is from a self-proclaimed fanboy, and should be taken as such.


PS4 for a few reasons:
-It's the more powerful of the two as far as game related matters go.
-It has better features in terms of gaming, such as playing games via internet connection with friends who don't even own the game you're playing.
-At current, the PS4 makes up nearly half of the current gen game console purchases, and as such will have more people to play with as well as draw the most game developers (more and probably better exclusives will be one result of this).
-Finally, it's entirely undeniable that the PS4 has a far broader selection of game genres.


That said, it all comes down to what kind of games you like best, I suppose. If you like to play (almost exclusively) sports and shooters, then the XB1 is fine. However if you enjoy RPG, Action/Adventure, Puzzle, etc. PS4 is your cup of tea. The reason being most AAA Western game companies make shooters and sports titles their main focus, and that's mostly what XBox games consist of (Western games), while PS4 is home to a wider range of game regions including a heavy influence of Eastern developers.

Now no genre is only available on one console only, so don't misunderstand me. Rather what I mean is that most games for a given genre almost inevitably favor a specific console.

Also one thing I'd seriously consider is that over half of all Xbox/XBox 360's red-ringed in their lifespan. That should concern anyone who's considering paying $400-$500 on one of their products I think.

Finally, fanboy or not, I tried to speak as objectively as possible here. And I'm sure the XB1 is a decent enough system, I just feel it's the less desirable of the two personally.

If you don't have a great PC, I suggest neither. PC is the cheapest route to great games. If you like playing a variety of games (including AAA games), but don't like dishing out $20-$60 for great games and are patient, PC is far and away the best gaming console.

Between Humble Bundle, Steam sales, Indiegala and free games, PC is well worth it in the short, and especially the long run. That said, there are games you can't play on PC. If the exclusives you want are for one of those systems, you might want to go for it. But if you want the biggest variety of games (and cheapest games) to choose from, PC is the way to go. Contrary to popular belief, you CAN build a good PC that can play AAA and new releases for $500. I suggest visiting /r/PCmasterrace on Reddit and listing what you want. Some people may tell you it's not possible, but there is likely to be at least one person who can help you. Any hassle you have to deal with setting it up with be all worth it when you are able to play games with mods, mess around, and emulate games from the past, such as those for PS2 or Gamecube, even Wii with a little bit of workaround.

If you already have a 360 or ps3 I would hold off on getting a next gen console. Right now there is no reason to upgrade, no real "must haves" that are not also on last gens consoles. If  I had to make a choice of which one to get I would go with ps4. If you get a Vita, it does almost nothing with it but oh well, still cool.

No love for the Xbox? Oh well, I wouldn't recommend the new Xbox. In fact, I got rid of mine because of how little I actually liked it. You should choose either the PS4 or a PC, even the Wii U would be a good option.
