zanderlex : I feel like the same way, out of how many reviews and walkthroughs I made, my brain is all fried, well I can rest up for the next 4 days and I might still post some reviews here and there, but not as frequent as this month.

IgorBird122 : I probably won't rest up at all, heck with elimations and such open again, I might even end up doing more next month.

EideticMemory : Well isn't that true for everybody? :p The more you sleep the less time there is to be on.

I think by the looks of it, I think it will be a very close call, but I think the Ice Cubes might just make the win, we won't know until the final results come in tomorrow. September might pass us, or we might have just gained enough domination today to keep the lead. This is quite an exciting final day of TdV.

IgorBird122 : it doesn't look like Kimmy and I have combined for more than 20 points, so you guys have this in the bag easily.

zanderlex : Yeah, more in likely. The Ice Cubes has some comeback, and you Squirrels sure put up quite a bit of a fight, it give all of us a level that we haven't even reached before, so this has been a nice competition.

This was so close that just one extra day of activity by any of my team members could have caused us to win. Oh well, Team Zanderlex will make a comeback next tdv.

I would like to congratulate everyone who fought so hard last month. Tour De Vizzed Winter 2015 is probably the best I've ever seen and competed so far. January Ice Cubes, congrats! You sure froze the September Squirrels to death, huh? You also froze our sea, so us, Daulphins, have no home now . September Squirrels, you also did well! 2nd Place is also good. You ate many Power Acorns, so that's how you all managed to get 1st Place, but then 2nd Place.

Thanks man. It would have been nice, and the yellow jeresy is pretty clean as far as competition goes, which is why I like it.

Unfortunately, my work started taking me out of town, and I couldn't stay up late just to moniter who was going for yellow and keep ahead of them.

However, thanks to the long drives to work, I got lot's of time in writing while my dad drove me there. I almost stole that yellow jeresy friday but when I submitted the chapter Vizzed didn't accept it. I guess it though I was submitting to many words to quickly.

A Note from your Host

I had a blast hosting this time around. I see you all did too.
To see this thread hit 400 replies (in January of all months) was incredibly surprising and definitely added to the experience.

So during most of this TdV we saw the top 2 teams face off, which actually was fun to watch. But that wasn't all we had. For the majority of the TdV, the Top 5 weren't certain. Even on the last day we weren't completely certain about 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th. Especially those last three which ended up within 5 points of each other.

I guess it's a good thing that we can finally lay the uncertainty to rest. I hope you enjoyed your Teams and got to know some users you normally don't talk to.

The graph is posted below, and you can see how many times the lead changes occurred, and how close different "groups" of teams were throughout this month.

First place goes to:

The January Ice Cubes - 421 points

Their work was astounding this month. At many times it seemed like they would fall behind, but in the end their efforts got rewarded.
At first they lost the lead to the August Willows, and later to the September Squirrels (many times, back and forth). The number of lead changes this time around was truly astounding. But like I said, they came out on top.

Great work, and congrats!

The September Squirrels - 397 points

It took them two days to move from outside the top 5 to second place. That's incredible. And not long after that they managed to bounce between first and second for a bit. They came close to winning it at the beginning of the final week. January was nowhere to be seen, and the Squirrels had the lead. Unfortunately the situation was reversed, and the Squirrels ended up having a few weak days at crucial points. Anyway, they did a fantastic job, and definitely deserve to be in the top 2.

The December Penguins - 250 points

This team generally had solid days, and managed to finish the TdV far ahead of 4th and 5th, even though it wasn't able to catch up to the two powerhouses. They finish at a solid 250 points, and 3rd place, so congrats!

The March Kites - 194 points

This team appeared closer to the end of the TdV, but climbed up the rankings quickly. They didn't manage to catch up to the Penguins, but they had a great performance that landed them safely in the top 5.

The February Waterfalls - 133 points

Like the Willows, The Waterfalls had their strong days earlier on, but they managed to squeeze a few crucial points in these final days to move above 6th and 7th, which were not far behind. Congrats on making top 5!
