From what I gather, these extremists going against GamerGate, and the Social Justice Warriors are getting upset at metal, and saying it's racist, homophobic, sexist, etc. There was an article from Spin magazine's website about top 20 metal albums of 2014, that made a comment about this, and it sparked a lot of these extremists to bash metal. When in reality, metal has been for everyone. No matter what race, gender, or sexual orientation you are. I mean did these SJW's ever do research? The metal community has been very accepting to everyone. Did they not see that Rob Halford, lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Judas Priest is gay? I can't think of one metalhead out there that hates him because of his sexual orientation. He's one of the best metal vocalists of all time. It has slowed down over the last week, and gone quiet, because GamerGate took over again, but it really set me off when I first seen it mentioned, because it's people like the extremist SJW's that bark louder, and are heard by the mind numbing morons out there that believe them.
As for Spin, they know nothing of metal, and should stick to talking to garbage music they spew daily and stay away from an amazing genre. I know that sounds awful for me to say, but I just despise a lot of music media.
