Hello, and welcome to the new revamped "Ask play4fun Anything" thread. This is where you can ask me about anything, whether if it is Bible/theology related, Vizzed related, personal questions about me, or anything you want to ask about. I will respond to the questions as soon as possible and answer them however way I want to answer them. (Remember that forum rules and site rules still apply here)

Just to give a little bit of background, the original thread was "Ask Singelli and play4fun Anything" and Singelli made that thread. After she decided to leave the modship of the forum, she wanted the thread to be simply "Ask play4fun Anything." So it was changed and everything was fine, but Singelli still received notifications from this thread because she made the thread originally, so to avoid annoyance, I remade a new thread.

So go ahead, ask me anything.

Now to answer questions from the previous thread.

kirbmanboggle : I become a Global mod on June 4th, 2013. The site was going through an overhaul of moderators and wanting to find the appropriate people to take the helm of those positions, so Admins of that time (geeogree and tRIUNE) did a Global application. I decided to give it a shot and applied and I received the position. It was pretty cool during that time because in the previous days, I've seen the site as trusted member with only 3 options on the top, and then the next day, I saw the RGR inbox, the Local inbox, and the Global inbox on the top with my name colored in brown. They didn't tell me that I got the position until I logged in as a Global, and I received many congrats and celebration on my profile about it. I didn't really care a lot of whether I got it or not, but I was surprised just because I wasn't really considered the all-around active member of the site. I was never a local mod on the site and I pretty much only posted in the Christian Conservative forum and the Debate forum. I have gained my trust points just from mostly posting in those 2 forums. 

mrfe : I love to spend time with friends and family on any group activity. Whether if it is backyard sports, board games, or just spend quality time together. That is next to some individual activities like doing any editing/filmmaking projects, playing games, reading books, doing personal research on a topic, etc. I just wish I have more time to spend on these things.

No, I don't view Vizzed as a job. I know some people put their positions on their facebook page as their employment, but I keep my involvement on Vizzed to be separate to my personal life. And when I do my job on Vizzed, I just treat it like working on the site while enjoying the company of the community here as well as making sure everything is in tip top shape. I'm just socializing with a little bit more power than others on this site. I don't even remember the quota anymore just because I don't really think much about it. I just do what I need to do, check on the components that I need to check, and do any modding that I need to do. I don't plan or intending to let my real life/personal life to be forced to adjust because of what I do on Vizzed. If I can't be here for whatever reason, then I won't be here, but I'll still be back when all my higher priorities are dealt with.

Sword legion : Not really, I don't think. I think people need to distinguish the difference between me as a person and me as a global moderator of the site. When I do modding and correcting, it's never personal. You do something wrong, you get warned or get a consequence. I am a type of person who likes to see both sides of the story before making the decision (unless it's really obvious that the action itself is a rule breaker). Some people take it soooo personally when I close a thread, edit a thread, give a ban or warning. Just take the consequence, admit to being wrong, and move on. Other than that, I think people treat me the same way if I were just a member. If you want to get to know me, just don't make yourself look like a troublemaker and we can form friendships that way. I don't use my powers for personal purposes, just making sure everything is aligned with the site's code of conduct.

I would say you will have the occasionally newbies who would show up and not know who I am, and they would just send a random PM or comment on my profile to be all "buddy buddy" It's pretty weird, but not that common.

Singelli : I know, but I love it when you tell me multiple times

Gingercream1 : Weird rumor, but no, I'm not afraid of girls. (Why would you think that I am talking to you? ) Interestingly, I've been described by my fellow floormates freshman year in college that I am one of the most "lady's man" type of guy on the floor. It sounds weird, but that's because (what they told me) is since the school year first started, I had no problem visiting and meeting the girls on the sister floor, while other guys are self conscious about how they appear to them. And yes, I had friendly dates with some of my female friends.

The spamfest is getting out of control to the point that I stopped responding my comments unless it's something that needed responding (or if it's not Aria ) I talk to her on chat anyways, so I don't feel the need to respond anyways. It is kinda losing their effect since I no longer feel excited of getting a profile comment unless I'm getting it from a variety of people.

yoshirulez! : It looks kinda messy. If you can make it more professional and realistic looking, it would look better with the change of word that you did there.

Did you get anything special on Black Friday?

All the globals on Vizzed are pretty cool. I was actually talking to Light Knight and Jordvan Yesterday, to Light Knight about his layout, and Jordvan about a retro game called Faxanadu. Both of them were friendly, And I forgot that both of them were global moderators. That is something that I like about Vizzed. The Globals are pretty nice.

Why did you decide to make a 2nd thread? 

What do you think of the standings of the yearly awards ( or results if they have already came out ) ? 

zanderlex : Technically throughout the whole thanksgiving/black friday/cyber monday week, but I've embarked on a project of building a powerful desktop for stronger editing/composition purposes, as well as being able to play a few higher games on the side. It's complete and it's running very well. The specs are awesome too!

As for the results of the Vizzed awards, I'm not aware of the results in general and it won't be out till Saturday, but I *think* I will defend my title as the "Most Mature" member on the site, tying with rcarter2. I also think I will be placing in maybe 1 or more other categories.

Are you ever worried that the light of the world will continue to erode as the rest of it has, or do you see revival possibly at every corner.

Sometimes I think there is no hope, but things go up and down. It's better now in some ways without the Spanish Inquisition and such, but I really worry that peace and the new age, "let's get along" attitude is leading to a lot of compromise and is eating away at what makes believers different. . .

Borax :  Just your usual filthy troll.  Don't feed it and it will eventually starve.  Just a pity he dumped his garbage on a family friendly site.  I've got a suspicion that it's just someone with sour grapes for being banned first (second, third...) time round.

@p4f - How often do you play games?  PC or console?  Don't you find that it "interferes" with your faith or how do you handle that?

SoL@R : Well, I mean the username alone gave away that he was a Internet troll, I was just curious as to why hes all mad at Play4fun. But I'm sure it's just a kid trying to ruin things when hes not affecting anything or anyone. xD
