As a way to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the Sony Playstation, we'll have 3 different streaming events on 3 different channels on Wednesday, December 3rd. Look below for more information and be sure to follow these channels.



Playstation Challenge Stream @ 2-5 PM Central Time
This will be a fun competition based stream where 3 users will be playing the same Playstation game simultaneously with objectives. The users who will be participating in this challenge include djinn8345 (lilwildwolf21), Foxyman1113 and myself. If you miss the event, don't worry because I'll be uploading it to my personal YouTube account here.

The challenges will range from getting the highest score, getting the furthest in a certain amount of time, who can beat a specific level the quickest, etc. There will probably be 11 challenges and each challenge will be around 15 minutes long. Here are some of the games that this challenge will include:

-Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
-The Grinch
-PaRappa the Rapper
-Super Puzzle Fighter 2
-Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
-Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

-2 more which will be revealed during the stream

Random Playstation Game Stream @ 5-7 PM Central Time

Playstation Music Stream @ 7-9 PM Central Time
We'll all be listening to and rating the songs submitted to the Playstation Game Music competition. Half way through every song we'll put up a poll which will allow everyone to vote. Djinn8345 (aka lilwildwolf21 on vizzed) and I will be co-hosting this event on his channel and we'll be giving away a total of $50 to random viewers of the stream so the longer you stick around and vote, the better your chances of walking away with a cash prize.

That's 7 hours worth of Playstation streams on December 3rd and it may even continue throughout the night if we get enough viewers in these streams. Everyone be sure to join in on these streams and follow the channels so that you don't forget about them. I'll also be announcing each before they start and I'll be promoting them in the Retro Game Room as well.

Staff : Hopefully as many of you as possible can participate in this stream in order to help us get as accurate of a rating for each song as possible. I will not be making a voting thread for this competition so the only way to vote this time is to participate in this stream.

I would like to say that I could attend but that is right towards the end of my work day. I'll try to make it but I'm kinda thinking I won't be able to stay for long.

Oh surprising surprise, there's "The Grinch" in the list and I just made a walkthrough of that game. Did you get the idea thanks to the walkthrough or did you get it before I publish it?

On a serious note, I won't be able to vote for the music competition, David. I wish I could take part to this like I always did but my time zone won't allow me to do it this time. Damn time zones

Laian : It's no problem. I wanted to do a Christmas game and it's the only one for the Playstation that I know of. It's a coincidence that you just did a walkthrough on that lol.

Now that I found a way to magically get home internet for the first time in 6 months, I pan on being there for at least a couple of hourse, and I can't wait to see what it's like.

At first, I got frustrated and angry to miss this event but I just noticed that I end early on this Wednesday. I am able to see some of the live stream events yay! I got some good luck.

I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to make it as my Fridays have been pretty hectic lately since it's the end of semester at the course I give classes on, but I'll try to make it somehow.

Davideo7 : Can I suggest something for the Music Stream? The way the votes took place last time seemed not only a bit confusing but also somewhat demanding for you, having to Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V every vote comment (including changed votes) plus getting someone to count all of them afterwards. That's why I'd suggest using strawpoll.me for the voting this time.

It's really simple to use (most streamers use it because of that in fact), it would not only make it more organized but also save the work from counting every single vote since it keeps track of results. The only thing that would be needed is for you or moderators to create the polls and post the links in chat for people to vote.

mvhupsel : It's going to be Wednesday, not Friday. We're going to use hitbox's built in polls to do the polling this time.

I will be able to attend it by around 4:30 EST, maybe 4:15. Depends on if I have homework or not. Hope to be there for the majority of it, though!

It's an interesting activity, but as Laian said, timezones are a pain in the ass. I could be online at that time, but it's too late in here to start listening to music (damn you speakers, not being able to connect headphones).

I'll try to be there since I'd be free by next week. Hopefully I could wake up early since that would be early morning for me.
