Hiya! This is oldschoolboyz and I am conducting some research on a topic. Should we have trainers in our site staff? I noted that in the staff area we have lots of positions and I had this idea last night. If we had site trainers I believe we could improve the overall quality of relations on the vizzed site. Trainers could be anywheres in responsibility from helping out newbies and members to training mods and other staff moving up in the world of vizzed to help improve relations and even over all quality of things (hypothetically). Training would also help implement knowledge of the site and may reduce lots of common issues on sites like this one including communication, relations, and even those ocassional flames.    

Growing up in life I have had the blessing to be able to find out things on my own as we all have but, also I have had the blessing of guidance from others. It is a positive thing either way and it is nice to have someone or something we can rely on for input when our own self discovery questions cannot be answered. So, I put it to everyone, how do you feel about this? I would love some in depth input from everyone on this. As usual I ask that this thread stay on topic and it is not a debate issue. There is a forum for that.

I will refrain from voting, but I will point this out: A lot of people help out anyways, just so you know. For example, there was this time when somebody came into chat, and I spent an hour answering their questions. 

What I am trying to say is that I think the position will be unneccesary because of how many people are actually willing to help the newbies and people who need help without a staff position or a title. 

oldschoolboyz : Since you made a new thread with the poll function this time, can you copy what you wrote on your previous thread and post it in this thread so that there won't be 2 of the same thread? We can have one of the moderators close the other one to avoid confusion.

We all help each other out or make our best attempts to share information on issues we've run into. 

That's what makes vizzed not only a community, but a great community that makes people want to stay.
