If you are interested in sports anime, then you should definitely check out Slam Dunk. In my opinion this anime is one of the best if not the best in the sports anime category.

Slam Dunk

Pros:
In some of the episodes there are basketball tutorials which is quite helpful for those who are new to basketball.
The most realistic basketball anime.
You'll be laughing non-stop.

Cons:
The anime isn't finished and you'll have to read the manga if you want to know the ending of this anime.

I would recommend Kantai Collection the most, since it's one of the most popular anime right now. There are some cutesy scenes, just as a FYI. You get to learn about WWII, since it's based on it.
I also Would recommend Hidan no Aria (Aria the Scarlet Ammo), it has plenty of action scenes. Also, the commentaries for the previews of the next episode on the English dubbed version are funny.  
Angel Beats, since it's my top favorite. Another popular one. 

Don't do mainstream anime for now, let's focus on the smallscale ones.
Nichijou is a slice of life anime that has a lot of chibi in it but you may like the spontaneous action element in it.
Eden of the East is a mystery one which is probably 2nd place for my favorite anime list, and it involves nerds, Siri, and a crazy woman who likes to chop off phalluses.
Gurren Lagann is my favorite. Like oh my lord. It's a story about a few people that are rebuilding and protecting civilization.
You need to watch it immediately, or at least watch the first 2-3 episodes at once and then consider dumping it or not.
FLCL is something I haven't watched yet but I hear it's good; plus the same people that animated it animated Gurren Lagann.

I really like Fairy Tail. It involves guilds, magic, and a whole lot of dramatic sequences. It has a lot of action and humor in it, it's my favorite anime. I'm 11, so I try to limit fan service, but this show is like perfect for me. Lastly, there is a lot of episodes in it.  (much better than pokemon btw) Watch it!

Naruto/Naruto Shippuden and Dragon Ball Z are all great anime's. If you like action then you will definitely enjoy them. Besides the action, Naruto also has an amazing story and the characters are all really interesting. In my opinion, the character development and the character backstories are better than most other anime's out there.

I really can't give you a lot of anime choices but I would recommend Yu Yu Hakusho, Samurai Champloo, Persona 4: The Animation, Attack on Titan, and Kill La Kill.  Just my recommendations and favorites.

Tokyo godfathers. Grave of fireflies. Porco Rosso.

Guys, really? Not going to mention the most fabulous anime out there?! Jojo's Bizarre Adventure?! It has posing! and fighting! and vampires but the vampires are kinda cool and not really animu like how people seem to show them these days! Anyway, give that a look when you get the chance. It's short (~26 episodes), and pretty entertaining, well for Part 2, anyway. Just look up Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (2012) on anything and you should find it. aaaand I'll leave a few clips here:

I should also say that those clips are actually all from Part 2, Battle Tendency, so you may have to grudge through Part 1, Phantom Blood, first... and hey, if you like it, read the manga!

I bet you would like Cowboy Bebop, if you liked Trigun. It's pretty good and spacy, to boot. Plus it has a genius corgi. *no joke* 

You might also want to look into Black Cat. I don't know where you can watch that particular one online, but reading through the list of things you've watched so far, that sounds like it might be up your alley. It's about a thief going up against an illuminati-type group. Insanity happens, but it's the GOOD kind. I think you'd enjoy it!

Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and the new series Dragonball Super. (Just released as of Today July 5th, 2015 and yes a site has the English subbed version because Dubbed doesn't exists yet.)

Some good ones i like are. Baki The Grappler, Golgo 13, Rurouni Kenshin, Burst Angel, Campione, Fate, Knight Hunters. Based on what you say you like i would recommend these. 

You probably already watched the DBZ series, but I recommend it anyway just for the sake of it.

emptysenji : A good anime you should look into is the Naruto series. "Naruto" and "Naruto Shippuden"
are really good shows. You can find them on Crunchyroll or on YouTube every Thursday because they add a show every Thursday on Crunchyroll, or every Thursday the show premieres on Television though I do not know what television channel the show appears on in the United States, but you will be able to find it easily in Japan. As the show is popular in Japan that the public should know what channel "Naruto Shippuden" appears on, on Japan's television countrywide.

Final Weapon : Well sometimes there are people who ask about recommendations to animes, but don't know Naruto, so as my recommendation out of any show I like the best, it would be Naruto. Does that mean you knew about Naruto too?

happiness7 : I've watched the series half way through. That statement I made about everyone watching naruto was an exaggeration. My apologies for that.

Final Weapon : It's alright though I think there are some people who watch anime and don't even know about Naruto because some people don't want to watch an anime that takes hundreds of episodes to end itself. I am pretty much at the episodes where they are at war. The most recent episodes where they are at war. I have watched almost all the episodes before that, but some filler or past episodes where they go into the past I did not watch because sometimes they are really boring.

Anything but Dragon Ball Super

These are some of my personal favorites that I've watched, and I think they might appeal to your liking as well: Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, SAO, AOT, Akame Ga Kill, Blue Exorcist, Persona 4 the Animation, and Fullmetal Alchemist. 

Naruto is one of my top choices, it does have quite a bit of filler (it is pretty easy to tell when filler will ensue), but the plot, character development, and the fights are quite memorable in my opinion. It gets even better in Shippuden however. The other choices I've listed are good options because they do have an engaging plot and interesting characters/fights. 

You could even try DB super (even though it is currently touching up on what was already covered in Battle of the Gods), it is available in subs even though the voice acting isn't that great, but it's your call. Hopefully this can give you some ideas. 

Cowboy Bebop

Through my increased experience, I have some new recommendations.

Mitsudomoe. A bit crude Really crude, but really funny nonetheless.
Non Non Biyori. Really slow, set in the countryside. As I said, reeeeally slow. But it's great, and the second season is fantastic.
Servant X Service. Excellent show about work life, reminds me a lot of Working!!.
Working!!. Has three seasons, each one exponentially better than the last. But you have to start at the beginning to get everything this series has to offer.
Shinryaku! Ika Musume. Art style and music are very reminiscent of Nichijou, but this series has its own charm to make it stand out from the crowd.
Zero no Tsukaima. You can't tell me you didn't see that one coming.
Rec. The most recent of the anime on this list I've seen. Truly unique, but it admittedly may be a bit too mature for you. And no, there's no ecchi.  The whole thing has a very serious, mature, and down-to-earth feel to it that many comedy anime miss completely. Watching Rec will leave a fundamentally different taste in your mouth than nearly every other anime out there, so its definitely worth a watch or two, at the very least.  It's been swept mostly under the rug, however, so it's not incredibly popular, but don't be fooled, it really is incredible.
