There are many anime out there. Some make you happy, some make you sad, and some.... well,
Spoiler:
School Days was HORRIBLE DONT EVER WATCH IT

But there are a few anime's out there that just completely breaks you down and makes you cry.

I've had a few anime that have done this to me, some of them are:
Sword Art Online
Clannad
Kannon 2006
Kino's Journey

Those are just 4 anime that have touched me in a very good way. I'd love to hear what some of your favorite anime that has touch you and made you cry.

greatmaningrey : I agree with Sword Art Online, and Clannad. Both of those are really good. I'm not too sure of which anime really get to me, I'd have to go with Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Tokyo Ghoul might have gotten to me, can't wait for the next season. For unknown purposes, I'm going to include Ouran High School Host Club, and Future Diary. These last two I've listed just kinda stay in my memory, and hold their place rather well. If you want, I can link you my anime list.

I don't really understand why so many people found Sword Art Online touching. Maybe I just never liked actual characters that much Because they were so....generic. (except Klean and Yui)

wawawait, "Papa, hold me!" That gave me some serious feels, but that was about it.

I say the Anime that affected me the most was the finale of Sonic X season 3. It really woke me up and made me look more for the things in life that last.

Also In Madoka Magica's third movie, I /almost/, right before the end credits, rolled broke down crying. (I prolly didn't cause I was in such shock still over how the plot took an unexpected turn at the end.)

And Clannad after story: Name a full grown man that wouldn't cry seeing it.

greatmaningrey : For me it would be Zatch bell, but more precisely the manga, you see I have depression and as you might guess I was suicidal but there was an important scene that helped me forge ahead even today. One character Sherry was born into a Rich Family, you know the kind, the one where your parents will force lesson upon lesson upon lesson to make sure you become the best man or woman to run the family. Sherry suffered, many days and nights without rest having to learn many arts...and her mother in frustration told her when she finally collapsed, "I wish you were never born."

It brought her to the edge she jumped off a bridge into a river...however a girl by the name of Koko rescued her from the river and told her these words, "It doesn't matter how dark a tunnel you are going into, there will always be a light at the end. Keep going and find that light."

Those words stuck with me through out my childhood and into my adulthood. Every time I felt sad or feeling close to that point, I remember those words and I feel much more secure.

I suppose I could also mention how I enjoyed the Zatch and how he wanted to become a Kind King, one who can make sure everyone of his friends can live a happy life, or how awesome Brago is, or how many times I've laughed at the duo of Iron Man Fagore and Kanchome but really after that first part there is no point. Check it out its a good anime and manga.

I would say Clannad changed me as a man. I have gone through stuff similar to Tomoya and the anime made me see it in a new light.

I would definitely have to say Naruto has had a positive impact on me.

As silly as it sounds, there are actually a lot of life lessons and morals I've picked up from watching the show. There is the obvious recurring theme of never giving up, but there are also a lot of other morals and life lessons you pick up on as the anime progresses. Some other themes include pursuing your dreams, learning to move on from the past, and there are is a lot of stress on the bonds of friendship and love. It sounds cheesy, but I really did notice a lot of these lessons while watching the show, thus is has had a good impact on me and the way I perceive the world around me.

My answer is clear: Bobobo.

Sure, it was absurd humour, but there's a huge life lesson inside: be yourself no matter what. Thanks to Bobobo and his crew, now I don't have regrets for being myself, and I always try to make fun of any given situation.

On the other hand, I would say Yu-Gi-Oh! has affected me in more ways than one. Although there are little life lessons I could extract from it, watching it in the TV 10 years ago marked my affiliation to anime, and also my liking to card games ever since, essentially making me what I am today.

How has anime affected me? Well, it gave me something to do while I ate lunch. That's about it. I guess I need to watch a larger variety of anime.

Well, I'm really into game design is what I want to do. Writing stories is not actually an easy thing to do.
Watching anime I've really started to get the hang of how to write a good story and what points should stand out in a fantastic setting for example.

I feel like all of the anime I've watched has helped me.

Most of them has dealt with death in one way or another, which I was struggling with grasping at the time I started watching anime like Death Note and Code Geass.

There are only really two anime that have really helped me in a good way. The first is Pokemon because it taught me so many things and was awesome and the 2nd was Persona 4 The Animation because of its pure awesomeness.
