I spent just over an hour writing my first game review only to lose it all when I clicked preview thread at the bottom. I had realized afterwards that I forgot to put in a title for it. I didn't think a game review needed a title since it was located on the game page itself.

I was devastated. I feel really awful and I do not want to write it all out again, even though most of it is still fresh in my mind. The worst part is I won't be getting any Viz for it. I wasn't doing it for the Viz but the thought of getting some Viz for putting so much passion into my thoughts about one of my favourite games of all time was a nice boost in motivation. Now I just feel terrible.

So the reason I put this in suggestions is so that someone can do something about this awful thing that happened to me. I don't want this to happen to anyone in the future, and it's so simple to fix that I feel anger towards whomever left it out.

bugameca : ok a made a simple fix for this go back apage and all your text will be back if you still have the window you can save it

kirbmanboggle : Not that I doubt you or anything but what did you do? I reopened the tab and went back and as I expected the page was blank like I hadn't written anything. Thanks anyways.

bugamecano it has to be the same exact tab and can't be clossed or recovered from an error

kirbmanboggle : Oh well I had no idea closing the tab would have a worse effect on it since after seeing it blank the first time I went back to it, I assumed it was gone forever. Like I said I was devastated and I didn't think about asking for help since it seemed hopeless.

This happens to a lot of people. What I recommend is to copy your entire review before clicking the submit button, or have it open on a notepad or something. Also, always double check if you filled in everything. 

Mistakes happen, and all you can do about it now is to learn from it.

FunnyFurret : Yeah I usually do write things in notepad or something if they're going to be long. I shouldn't have made that mistake, I know better than that. I just wasn't thinking straight. I'll re-write the whole thing over the next few days; adding a few thoughts when I can. Hopefully it will be at least as good as before.
