Playstation Came Out in Japan on December 3rd, 1994
The Sony Playstation will turn 20 years old on December 3rd and as a way to celebrate, November will be Playstation month. Every Game of the Day and Game of the Week will be of a Playstation game from now until December 3rd and on top of that, the Playstation item (which allows you to play Playstation games on Vizzed) will be 50% off which means you can now get it for 25,000 Viz for a limited time! Vizzed Has A Mostly Complete Playstation Library
Over the past few months I've invested well over 100 hours into finding, preparing, formatting and adding every Playstation game to the site and I'm finally finished. This includes all USA games and also all European and Japanese games (the ones that weren't released in the USA). On top of that, a lot of hacks, homebrew and demo discs were added. If you see any games that are missing, let us know right away and we'll get the games added ASAP. That is a great idea David! I am very impressed by the PSX library, and I'll see if i'm gonna join a competition, I think I will.

This will give more members the oppurtinity to buy the PSX item, and compete in competitions.

Ah, the long-awaited month of Playstation. Now, we're talking. I'm looking forward to these competitions. This is going to be interesting.

Oh, this is fantastic! I just bought back the PS1 item I accidentally sold thanks to that sale, and now that PlayStation games have their own page, I hope to never make a mistake like that again.

What will the competitions be? This should be quite interesting.

Will somebody please explain to me what it means to buy the "Playstation item"?  What do you get from it?  It seems expensive at 25k Viz not knowing what all is included.

Davideo7 :   Thanks for the link and the brief, but effective explanation.  I haven't checked out any of the PSX games on the site yet until now.  I did notice that there is no option for me to play the game Final Fantasy VII, meaning that I need to put out the 25k Viz to play that and all of the other PSX games.  I guess I will have to start saving my Viz since that is a really good system with lots of good games to play.

Davideo7 : If I sell the PlayStation after buying it for 50K, will I still get the same amount of viz? This has happened to me twice now, with netplay, and PlayStation ;-; lol

If you plan to have a PlayStation game play videos competition, then I suggest you include instructions on how to resize the video so that it doesn't end up looking like mine.

I just recently started recording videos so there is much I don't know. Anyway, I'm currently searching for a fix in freemake video converter. If anyone find a solution to my problem before I do, feel free to message it to me.

medieval zombie : Yeap you wont see the option to play the games until you buy the item. Once you've purchased the item, then all the games are free and do not cost additional Viz. It's really a great deal when you think of it since there are nearly 2,500 games and they take up 815 GB on my server and will suck up a lot of bandwidth as well.

AceShock : If you sell it now you'll only get 75% of 25,000 Viz. If you really want to sell it, wait until it goes back up in price.

Davien : That actually happens when you use freemake to compress the Playstation videos. We'll have to find different software for compressing the Playstation videos.

Oh, since when has the PSX library been visible to all? Fantastic idea! I didn't realize there's be so many interesting looking games on the Playstation. I only remembered my brother playing Spider-Man and that was it. Never played Final Fantasty, though, so I might have to give some of those a try. The 50% sale is great, but I'll have 0 Viz after this purchase! haha

EDIT: Correction, this post gave me a bit more Viz than I expected. I have ONE Viz left! Which is really funny. If I get more hours at my current job I'll have to be sure to finally donate! Fantastic site, David, keep it up!
