I've made some adjustments to the 2 file servers. Previously, any user who didn't have the 'Game Accelerator' (or weren't staff) would have their game loaded from the Vizzed.co server if they weren't playing a CD game (all CD games are loaded from Vizzed.co server no matter what). This update makes it so that files are downloaded from the Vizzed.net server if you don't have the 'Game Accelerator' and downloaded from the Vizzed.co server if you do. Basically this will result into less strain on the Vizzed.co server. This may sound like an insignificant update but I'll briefly explain how this should be beneficial.


Vizzed Minecraft Server is on the Vizzed.co server
The Vizzed Minecraft Server should now function better since it will be under a lot less strain.

Chat Room Server is on the Vizzed.co server
The Chat Room Server should also function a little bit better.

United States Server is on the Vizzed.co server
When playing netplay, the United States Server may function better.

Game Chat is on the Vizzed.co server
The chat room in the play game window may function better.

Cometchat Chat Bar is on the Vizzed.co server
The Cometchat Chat Bar (which is currently exclusive to Elite and up) may function better.

Regular Downloads are on the Vizzed.net server
Downloads of non-CD systems for users who do not have the Game Accelerator may experience slightly slower downloads but it's also possible they may experience faster downloads.

Game Accelerator may download files faster
I'm not sure about this one but it's possible that the files will download faster for those with the Game Accelerator. I should point out that staff don't need the Game Accelerator for it to affect them. For those who don't know, this is an item which can be purchased from the Item Shop for 15,000 Viz.

CD Systems may download files faster
The CD Systems may also download faster but again, I'm not sure about this yet.


I'm not entirely sure how this will affect all of the site services that use these 2 servers but the more feedback I can get, the better.

Staff : If you guys notice anything, please let me know. I really hope this doesn't cause anything to stop working but if users report anything out of the ordinary after this thread is made, please let me know.

Gee, maybe this update will actually make the Game Accelerator work for me. It wouldn't work before. The download times were all the same and it acted like I didn't have it.

well with the ps1 games gets stuck at 66% of getting the iso to boot up

Davideo7 : only 2 that i know of thats persona and reboot that happens but i i'll try with another ps1 game i have not tried yet

Davideo7 : sad news the other ps1 games dont work gets stuck at either 66% or 84%. for most of the 3d ps1 games i tired tony hawk 2 ps1 spiderman. strangely dosnt affect the games i have already played like col borders or pandamonium 2 and crash games

Davideo7 : I purchased the accelerator and experienced slower downloads on Metal Gear Solid on PSX.

evilcon09 : It must be something with your internet because most users aren't experiencing that problem.

Trendkiller : That item doesn't affect PSX games. Also, since PSX games are available to everyone today, you're going to notice slower than usual download speeds since a lot of bandwidth is being sucked up on my server.

Davideo7 : its odd cause i haven't had issues using other devices even my laptop dosnt have this issue

=final fantasy 7 psx loads to slow and i have the accelerator

Leoneal : It can only download so fast, the speed ultimately depends on your own connection speed. Playstation games are 100s times larger than the other games on the site, they are very big and take a while.

Sorry to hear about your brother. Retro gaming is always great way to relive childhood memories and gaming in general is a great way to escape the stresses of life.

I don't really have a problem with loading since I'm usually just waiting for it. Although I'm sitting at 6k VP right meow, I planned on getting the Accelerator later on.
