What do you mean by old school Pokemon? Everyone has their ideas of old school Pokemon. It could be only the first generation, the first 3 generations, or etc. Be more specific because Pokemon has been around for a long time.

If I had to choose, my favorite old school Pokemon would have to be Mewtwo. It has its own movie, voice, storyline, and great powers that it possesses from being created by scientists which is pretty impressive.

I'm going to consider old school to be either gens 1 or 2, both gens were great and they each had their set of awesome pokemon, but for me, I would have to say that my three favorites would be Dragonite, Feraligatr, and Tyranitar. Aside from just stats (which they all have pretty good ones) I really like their design and overall appearance, to me Dragonite just completely contradicts what you would expect from a dragon because it looks to cute and cuddly, but it is still powerful. I like Tyranitar because despite its many weaknesses because of its typing, its pokedex description is just the icing on the cake for me, it is so powerful that it destroys mountains and maps have to be redrawn....if that doesn't score it some epic points, then I don't know what does. As for Feraligatr, it just looks menacing, and its shiny form is really cool as well. So those are my reasons for why I like these three old school pokemon best.
