Last week, Disney has made an effort to sell more of its games by launching 21 of it's best titles on Steam. SO of the biggest games include Pure and Split/Second, as well as Disney Epic Mickey 2 and many others which can be read about here.

AT the moment, all of the new games cost 20 dollars or less. Are there any that you plan on getting?

I like Disney, but honestly said, I think the games are WAY overpriced. I've never really played the Disney games, but I can understand that some people like them. 

Didn't/ Don't they have them on sale?

darthyoda : They do have the games on sale for 10% off, but the sale ends in a few hours, and the prices don't seem that bad since those titles new for the console mostly go for 20 dollars as well with some of them going as high as 30 dollars depending on the system.

Disney games are pretty boring, though I think I have a PS2 Disney game that's really good but I can't remember it...

Has Disney always made games for Steam? I'm honestly really surprised to hear they're putting games on Steam.

TheFadedWarrior : I looked up "Disney" on Steam and there was only 2 official Disney games being sold on Steam before this new launch.

I would be interested in getting Split/Second if it had multiplayer in this port. I've heard from reviewers that have played these ports that they are often poor and lack important features. One of Split/Second's main draws was the multiplayer, and it has been removed. Cars 2's graphics are terrible compared to what they used to be, and only 2 players can play at the same time (it used to support 4). I give props to Disney for the selection, but not for the quality of many of the ports. I wish they had spent more resources and time getting these better. Many of these games deserve a great port and would be a great fit for Steam, if the port were better.

I may still get Split/Second, but only if it is sold at steep discount. Also, Toy Story 3 and perhaps the Tron games as well. But I don't have a disposable income atm, so those will have to wait.

supernerd117 : I always wanted Spilt/Second ever since it first came out because it looked really good, but I can't pay for it, so I still have to wait.

zanderlex : Some players consider it to be the greatest racing game ever made, although Metacritic gave it a 79. Of course, the lack of multiplayer brings it down a bit, but I imagine that it's still a quite enjoyable game. I just would rather have the console version because of this. I hope you do get this game someday.

I guess that is good for Steam I should say. I don't think that Disney games are good and plus I agree with darthyoda on his statement about Disney games being overpriced. I am surprised that they are even on Steam anyway.

ghostfishy : WHen I first heard about this, I was actually very surprised that Disney didn't already have a bunch of games on Steam, I thought that they would have had a bunch of games out by now on Steam. Also, ever since they made that launch, there was another 3 to 5 Disney games released since then.
