Hello, Vizzed! Mappel6 here!

So, guess this is the part where I talk about myself. Anyways, to sum it up (and to avoid infringing on advertisement rules), I am that guy with interests in games, both playing and making, and languages. In fact, I'm learning many different languages like Japanese and Tagalog at the moment. And I like to make games using RPG Maker VX Ace as well as any of the early RPG Makers, and Sim RPG Maker 95.

I play games of all ages and types! For example, right now, I am on the final chapter of Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth. At the same time, I also play Super Smash Bros. 4 when I feel like it, and I'm working on getting through Mega Man Zero 3 as well! And then, on Vizzed nonetheless, I'm also working on games like Riviera: The Promised Land and Dai-2-Ji Super Robot Taisen, though I have to use the English translation as my Japanese is still pretty lacking. One more that I just remembered before I finished up this post, I finished both Danganronpa games for the PS Vita as well recently. I just need to 100% both of them.

Lastly, I love to take game suggestions, and I'm looking to get back into LPing on YouTube. In fact, I was thinking about using Vizzed to LP, and then posting a link for Vizzed in my LPs, therefore bringing more people to Vizzed. It's a very interesting thought of mine.

I'll finish up here. It's nice to become a part of such a community of gamers! Also, I really appreciate this site, giving me the chances to play games I can't get or wouldn't be able to play otherwise. And, I'm looking forward to LPing again when I get the chance. I have nothing else to say, I think, so Mappel6, going to play more Riviera for a bit.

Oh, yeah, forgot to mention. I've been here for a while, but early on, my computer sucked too much to get the games to work.

Welcome to the site, you sure have said a lot for your first post and I hope that you have plenty more to say. You should give LPs a try here on vizzed since there are so many games to play and if you get enough Viz you can play original playstation games. Well, have a great time.

What did you do here when you couldn't get the games to work? Lol!

Anyways,  it's absolutely great when newbies give us more than just a 'Hai I'm new I like games'.... so thank you! Also, it was courteous to consider what rules might exist about advertising.

It's so cool that you make games though! A few people here do, actually,  but I could never be smart enough to do that. Haha.

Honestly, I only thought of actually working on actually being active in the community so I could work towards the Accessories, and especially the PlayStation. The PlayStation has some of my favorite games ever, such as The Legend of Dragoon and Gundam: Battle Assault 2 that I don't have access to anymore. So of course I'd go for it.



@deg2000, I would certainly agree with quizzing, but be warned that my vocabulary is seriously lacking. I know basic grammar and very limited vocabulary. That's why I'm still trying to learn, but still that's going slowly due to the fact that I just hit a huge schedule bump and, well, I procrastinate a lot.



I should probably mention that I really don't know how to do a lot of things on this forum. I'll have to learn soon.

EDIT: @Singelli, I didn't do anything. I just kinda forgot about Vizzed when it didn't work.

Also, RPG Maker really simplifies the game making process, so if there ever comes a point in time where you'd want to make a game just for fun, use that.

mappel6 : Well, the playstation item costs 50000 Viz. If you want to do LPs, try doing them of games in the retro game room or of games listed in the Windows/mac page in the video game room. You don't upload to your own account, but to the vizzed account and you can get about 6000 Viz per hour of video total. If you want to do a PC game and you don't see it in the list, tell me what game it is and I will add it.

Hi, hope your enjoying your time on vizzed. I'm also trying to learn tagalog & japanese, also between life and interesting things like pokemon, vizzed, computer games in general, books, manga and lots & lots of music I end up procrastinating alot too and getting nowhere, haha and then forgetting everything I've learned already and starting from scratch again. Probably doesn't help that I'm almost as distracted by new languages and cultures as I am by computer games, before nippon & the philipines it was chinese and then russian, italian & french. I never really mastered zhongwen(chinese) either or got much further in russian or italian than the most basic phases, and in french I've forgotten almost everything I ever learned.
Anyway I'll leave it there since I've probably gone on enough, or too much, and just say hope you'll succeed in learning all the things you're seeking to learn and with the games design too.

Like what games we love to play, hobbies, etc. It's fun to make friends on here and play games at the same time. mappel6 : Wow! You are quite a diversly talented newbie! I doubt you will remain a newbie for long with all of those abilities! I myself am a fan of many different types of games, except that I tend to avoid bloody violence, magic, and most sports games. Some of my favorites right now include Metroid, Megaman, Transformers, PacMan, Good ole' arcaded games, and recently Pokemon (I decided to finally try it and see what all the hubbub was about!) Enjoy your stay!

Tagalog? I can help you with that! I'm assuming you mean Filipino though instead of Tagalog(tagalog is a dialect), but either is fine since I speak both and they just have a few differences.

Anyway, welcome to vizzed and have fun!

@Juliet, I was under the impression that Tagalog was the original language, and that Filipino was a language based off of Tagalog and I think English? Anyways, I did, in fact, mean Tagalog. I know some people from that area, and to be able to communicate with them in the language they are most comfortable with is what I aim to do primarily.

@FaithFighter, of course I am diverse and talented, but only really with games and languages. I kinda have many faults as well, but seeing what kind of site this is, I doubt any of those would really come to play.

@PokePal, I generally prefer to play very obscure games and listen to obscure music, and when it comes to popular games like Pokemon, I generally prefer the spin-offs. Like Ranger and Mystery Dungeon. Anyways, yeah, don't expect to know a lot of what I say. I like a lot of stuff that people normally overlook.

@M25, yeah, I know how it feels. But this ties in to my next one:

@ghostfishy, actually, no! I can also speak Spanish, to a degree. I really have to take some time, and use a dictionary sometimes, but I can do it well if I really, really tried. But, like M25 and his French, I've forgotten a lot of the vocabulary. But not the concepts of the language itself!

And lastly, an update: I have finished Ace Attorney Investigations, and have unlocked all characters in SSB4. I've been off Vizzed due to some reasons in real life, but I'll be getting quite a bit back to it soon!

So, yeah, that's an update on me. Now time to go play... Something, I guess.
