PacMan has been around for quite a while now...34 years as of today to be exact. While he is most commonly known for his arcade games, this munching hero is not limited to the coin arcades! He has made appearances in Mario Kart and the latest Super Smash Bros. for the WiiU. But he also has a few other games of his own--most notably the Pac-World Trilogy. The Pac-Man world games were some of the best arcade platform games ever to hit the third dimension. Also, each had a completely unique storyline--unlike Mario. The only thing he can seem to do is rescue Princess Peach over and over (doesn't he have better things to do.) Unlike Mario, Pac-Man has performed many great feats and rescues. In Pac Man world 1, Pac Man rescues his entire family and several friends from the evil Pacman Impersonator Toc-Man, who was built by the ghost orson. Pac Man world 2: Pac Man defeats Spooky inside the Tree of life after the ghosts let him out, thus saving pac world. In Pac-Man world 3, the writers turn up the heat a bit. Evil Scientis Irwin creates energy siphons to suck the energy out of the spectral realm--so that he can power his army of robots. But in the process, he awakens the Spectral Monsters. These guys are tougher than regular ghosts, and Pac is going to need some help when there aren't any power pellets around. Time to call on...WHO? Pinky and Clyde? That's right! This time, Pacman actually rescues these two ghosts and they help him throughout his adventure. Eventually, Pac Man realizes that, if Irwin keeps it up, he's going to break the Spectral realm and it will crash through Pac world and even the real world! So with Pinky and Clyde on his side (for now) and a revitalized Toc-Man from enemy-turned-ally Orson PacMan sets out to put an end to Irwin's evil plans. And even now, Pacman has returned in a completly new series. He's already got one game out, and the next is on the way (with a scoring system I might add!) Why doesn't this guy--he came before Mario by the way--have his own category here?
