zanderlex : Could you have at least tried to not kill one of the most logical players of the game? I get that you were just trying to survive but try and kill a member who has a higher chance of being a mafia or someone who isn't a analytic player.

As good as this is, it doesn't clear zanderlex, as we don't know if he is a town or mafia sided character. But enough about this, it is a night round, so good night.

My internet was down for the last couple days so I apologize for not voting / adding anything to the thread recently (not that it would change anything...)

But anyways, Zanderlex was a Governor, but that doesn't means he's Town Sided, please let's not forget that. Even without any powers, if he is mafia sided he can still try to confuse everyone. So if the Doctor was thinking about picking him for saving now that he is an easy target, you may want to keep that in mind before you do it, saving obvious threats just to make use of your power is not always the wisest choice. Just wanted to point that out.

I think that this puts Zander under a very suspicious light. Sonicmcmuffin didn't do anything particularly suspicious, except for declaring himself to be a "simple town-sided bystander". I don't know what game he was playing, but that statement ended up being true. Perhaps he had an alliance with the sheriff and knew of Zander's role, hoping to flush him out. We don't know. But I advise the doctor NOT to save zanderlex should he die tonight. Too much suspicion surrounds him at the moment.

supernerd117 : I think zander had a good reason for choosing sonicmcmuffin. After all, he was the one who started the vote against zander in the first place.

supernerd117 : The doctor should save who he wants to, but to let zanderlex die just like that might not be good either. If he is town-sided, he could be vital to our victory. If not, then we can take him out last. But at this point I view it as necessary to help him survive, as a town bystander, there isn't much I can do. But I will help him live, until I feel that he is in fact a mafia sided Governor.

Popeye116 : I think that reason in particular is what makes Zander suspicious. Plus his comments in response to it. It makes it look very much like this is because he had a personal vendetta against Sonicmcmuffin. Even if he is town-sided, it seems he made a really dumb move for personal reasons.

I'm going to put this out there.
Zanderlex's reasoning for choosing muffin is (in my eyes) the result of an OMGUS. An OMGUS is not a legitimate reason to kill someone.
If for some reason Zander thought he knew something else then I guess that's okay, but seriously it looks like an OMGUS.

I'm going to have to agree with mlb on this. I would honestly love to hear zanderlex's reasoning for choosing muffin especially since he stated in his post that his first choice was mrfe. Why choose muffin over over mrfe when muffin had clearly stated what his role was?  Maybe you know something we don't know but this just doesn't add up in my eyes.

styrofoamboots : I'll disagree with how you said muffin clearly said what his role was. I don't recommend trusting many people who put their roles out there in the open. In hindsight, this time he was telling the truth, but a mafia member could just have easily said what muffin said as well.
I'm saying that Zander had an OMGUS and that was his only reason it seems.

mlb789 : I can definitely agree with that, you're right. My main point of it however is how Zanderlex said his first pick was mrfe and yet decided to kill Muffin instead. I don't know what he was aiming for by saying that but that doesn't seem like the best thing to have said.

The only members of the Mafia to get a vote to kill at night are the vanilla Mafia members, and the Godfather. There can be Mafia sided killing roles, like the Loose Cannon, but they work independently of the Voting Mafia members.

Following zanderlex's diplomatic immunity laced tirade, that led to the death of the beloved sonicmcmuffin, the players decided it was time to wise up and be a little more logical with their decisions, both during the day and the night.

We're getting closer to the unity the town will need to win.

But that unity will be challenged, because paper luigi was slaughtered last night. He was just a simple bystander.

He was almost joined by mlb789 in the Kanashi Shima casualty list, but was saved by the Doctor.

Now, when someone asks "is there a doctor here!?" you have an answer. Yes. Yes there is a Doctor here, and they are delivering sweet safety to those they would protect.

What a lovely night. Only one death was suffered. At this rate, we might finish by Christmas
