The Autumn Tour de Vizzed is here! For those who missed out on last season's TdV, we had a big change: The Red and Green Jerseys are now based on Contribution Points and Actions! And I also added a Hall of Fame page. Another new addition are the daily double point actions.


There have been some changes that have happened lately regarding posting that will affect this Tour de Vizzed. Articles, Reviews and Walkthroughs are now worth more CP. Also, posting and thread making now grant you a lot more CP. For more details on that, go here

There have been CP adjustments to other actions as well and a new action available to everyone. Many staff actions have received a big CP reduction which will hopefully give non-staff a better chance at winning the CP Jerseys. Game Streaming CP payout is now based on your Vizzed Partnership (more info on that here). Lastly, anyone can now make Articles and anyone can earn CP from them now.

I'll most likely continue to make adjustments to the CP system this month and I may even add 1 or 2 more actions.


Each day there will be 4 Jerseys you can compete for:
Yellow Jersey: Most words in a day
Blue Jersey: Most posts in a day
Red Jersey: Most CP in a day
Green Jersey: Most CP actions in a day


If you get 1st place in a Jersey for a day, you get to "wear" that Jersey the following day. To "wear" it means that the background of your username will have a unique background graphic. Only the top 5 places of each Jersey gets points, 1st gets 5 and 5th gets 1. Whoever has the most points for any Jersey at the end of the competition gets to wear that Jersey for the entire next month. If you have more than 1 jersey, your jersey receives stripes for each jersey color you own.


Along with the Jerseys are Banners that change your username color. They basically represent who has the most points total:
Rainbow Banner: Whoever has the most points so far in the competition
White Banner: New member who has the most points so far in the competition (anyone who has signed up in the past 3 months)

You'll be DQ'd if:
-More than 25% of your daily posts are made in one of the following forums: Crazy House, Vizzed Market, Polls and Questions, Newbie Forum
-You copy content from other websites or other posts
-You use the "tabbing" technique to make a bunch of posts in a short amount of time
-You're caught cheating or unfairly earning Contribution Points
-More than 25% of your daily posts are made in the same thread (your own thread and staff threads are an exception)

Additionally:
If you get DQd just once from a Jersey, you can no longer get points for that Jersey for the rest of the month. We will be very strict from now on with the Tour de Vizzed. Only CP actions which you earned CP off of count toward the Green Jersey.


Some CP actions only count as 1 per day. In other words, any action in the below list can only increase your Green Jersey points by 1:

I hate spam. I hate it so so much. I will not hesitate to try and have your TDV dreams crushed if you mess with my forum.

Boxia : I see me and you are already going at it for Blue. Should be fun. 

Davideo7 : I did 3 of my 4 planned articles last night, getting about 85-90 CP, but now, it's gone because zanderlex decided to close, move, then open my articles. Can you do anything about that? That's been irking me all day, because I worked hard on those yesterday in preparation for today. 

For the days you get double "points" are the points CP, Viz, or tdv points?
Also am I allowed to make a game guide and not have it count to the tdv, but still get the viz? I want to finish my guide on yu yu hakusho tournament tactics and I want the cp and Viz for it. There is a rule about not making "split" guides during tdv months, but I dont think it should apply if you don't want to participate.
Igorbird said he'd have to ignore my post so it wouldn't count to the tdv. If he ignores it would I lose the Viz I got? And if not could I make it and whoever tallys the jersey wont count it?

Alright, so I did some articles last night, and posted them in the Articles Forum. Well, last night, on my CP page and the Tour de Vizzed Stat page, I got CP credit for them. Well, this morning, I woke up, and zanderlex had closed, moved, and then re-opened them, effectively causing me to lose the CP I earned from them. I have permission to actually post in the Articles Forum from alexanyways since he's the only Article Writer and is charge of Articles. 
I would like them to be moved back, and get my CP back. I wanted to hit 5k CP today, but now it does not look like it will be possible since I lost 85.7 CP from them being moved.
