Most fighting games are slow-ish and require patience. Smash Bros., on the other hand, is very fast-paced. If there were a fighting game as fast as Super Smash Bros., what franchise would you want it to have? Smash Bros is all Nintendo, but what if there was a Disney Smash Bros? A smash bros where you only play as characters from the Mario franchise? The Zelda franchise? The Megaman franchise? Or maybe it could be only characters from Namco games. The possibilities are endless.

So what do you think? What franchise would you choose? It doesn't have to be video games, it could even be Shrek or Thomas the Tank Engine.

Probably Persona, you can probably tell just by looking at this, I love Persona especially 3 and 4 beyond words. Think, your up B move could be riding on your Persona or something, Yu Narukami's attacks could be electricity based, Makoto's could be fire based, I don't know it would just be awesome!!!



Wait grape soda? YEEESSS I love it! Final Fantasy could be really cool as well, think about all the characters there could be in that game.

I'd definitely enjoy a Pokemon-specific Smash Bros. There are a ton of Pokemon to pull from, all with their distinct styles and abilities. And we could maybe see Pichu and Mewtwo return to Smash

   I'm with supernerd with the Pokémon styled smash bros. There's a ton of Pokémon you could use, and unlike the Pokkén fighter game, all different shapes, that work much better with Smash Bros. With all the moves, abilities that could go with it, they could make a really good game with it.

I would say one with Pokémon or Mario characters. Both games have strong monsters with various moves, which would be awesome to see. It would be a cool idea to let the baddies from Mario revive from older games and put them in this game like bosses or something like that.

Since I'm a huge Pokemon fan,  a Pokemon fighting game would seem fitting. However, Gamefreak finally did that with the announcement of Pokken Fighters. The only difference is that I would include a high number of Pokemon within the game. Of course, such a thing would probably put stress (and possibly limitations) on the console.

I should've seen this coming. Pokemon everywhere.

Well, They already did a teenage mutant ninja turtles one, But I would like one to crossover with dragon ball, And more TMNT characters from the cartoon, and comics. But there is already a mugen DBZ VS TMNT game, But A smash bros. one would be really cool.

Since Mega Man already got its own fighting games, I'd like to see Spongebob-type fighting games. Why? Because I'd love to see marine organisms tear each other to shreds, that's why. Come one, you've got to admit that would at least be an interesting idea for a series.

Smash Bros isn't all Nintendo anymore, it has characters from Sega, Capcom, etc.

I'm going to agree with others that a Pokemon fighting game similar to Smash Bros would be awesome. It'd be pretty cool if each of the Pokemon had like 4 moves and if you could teach them new moves as they level up or something.

While I like the Pokémon themed fighting game, I think going a non-gaming route would be great. Add in characters from comic books fighting alongside manga characters! I would love to see Zoro and Wolverine having a battle of the blades in a Deadman Wonderland themed stage. Oh, and only competition legal stages, with NO ITEMS!

I agree with requiem that we need a comic/ manga fighter. But i do believe there is a manga fighting game series though.

well i thinking today one like Project X Zone but it will have both Vizzed's Gingy's and my moonlains. It will have some Super Smash in it like music and backgrounds!

I'd like a vast Final Fantasy one. Dissidia is nice, but offers too few characters.

I'd like to have every main character and antagonist from every main series game involved, especially from the ones from VI on. Locke, Terra, Celes, Kefka, Cloud, Tifa, Barrett, Aeris, Vincent, Sephiroth, Squall, Rinoa, Zell, Irvine, Selphie, Seifer, Ultimecia, Zidane, Vivi, Steiner, Beatrix, Kuja, Tidus, Yuna, Wakka, Auron, Kimahri, Jecht, Seymour, Vaan, Basch, Ashe, Gabranth, Bergen, Vayne, Lightning, Hope, Snow, Sazh, Yaag, Jihl, Galenth, Cid, Serah, Noel, Caius... that's a list of 46 characters. From just 8 or so games, with potential to add more characters from the older games.

And each of those characters could be unique. There's a little crossover here and there, like how Squall/Cloud/Tidus/Auron/anyone who uses a sword will largely fight the same, but all of them have unique swords and animations. Cloud swings his sword differently than Squall does, differently than Tidus and Auron swing theirs and so on.

It will never happen, but it'd be nice to have a REAL Final Fantasy brawler that doesn't suck.
