Sinnoh tops my list, I've played through the game with each starter and completed the pokedex in diamond. The game just kept me entertained for a good period of time, I also loved the designs in the region.

   I don't know why, but for some reason Unova stuck to me. It might have been the fact that every feature looked new and I like that. My first Pokémon game was Pokémon Pearl, so I was only used to that type of gameplay. Pokémon Black and White looked so much newer so I had to get it and it was amazing like I expected it would be.

   Kanto would've probably been 2nd because it's the one that started it all. Johto however comes extremely close because in the games that feature Johto you start out in Johto and then travel to Kanto so it's 2 games in one. But since we are talking about the regions, not the games, Kanto steps ahead.

   Hoenn has to be next because it was the first region to be able to be played in real color. It's also just a really fun region to explore in general though.

   Sinnoh is next. I don't know, I think the reason I don't really like it is because the game looks almost identical to the region before. You'd think they'd make it look a whole lot newer but it doesn't look like that happened.

   Last and definitely least for me is Kalos . The only reason I have it at last is because I've never played Pokémon X or Y, but I will soon (just have to buy another 3DS).

   Basically, the list goes: Unova, Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Kalos. I hope you liked my answer .

Despite being a fan since the beginning, my favorite region is actually Hoenn because to me that region is the most beautiful, there's great gym leaders (just as good as Kanto's leaders to me) and the gen 3 games have incredible music. I also love how in Emerald the Battle Frontier was added even though technically it's in Kanto it's in none of the Kanto games. Another thing I love is the diving feature seeing the bottom of the ocean is incredible.

I really like Hoenn I spent countless hours playing Pokémon Sapphire and Ruby. As a kid I tried my best to " catch them all "

I almost did but eventually gave up when I couldn't find the very last one.

Hoenn has plenty of Pokemon that are good to use. The designs were perfect for me and I loved team Aqua and Magma. I don't like any other regions as much as Hoenn.

This one I find hard to chose, I have been to Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos, being born when Kanto had just come out, its a great region, and the starters from that region are my favourite starters of all time...then Johto, I don't know but this region I really didn't like, except for the night and day times, but the only Pokémon I liked from this was Umbreon (an eveelution), Hoenn, I say I am torn between this one and Kalos, Hoenn, is something I've not only seen in the old style graphics, but also in new graphics, and the glide in AlphaSapphire just brought me to joy, and the team magma and team aqua weren't like team rocket (pure evil) they ended up realizing their mistake, however I only played AlphaSapphire, so I didn't see Magma on the world domination side...and then there was Sinnoh, I did like this region, however, it was too compact for the game, and the only Pokémon I liked from this region were Riolu and Azelf...now Unova, where do I start? My favourite starter was Snivy, as its evolutions stayed upon the same style (Servine & Serperior), however this region brought in Pokémon, that in my opinion were more lame then all others, however Minccino and Cinccino were of my style...that leaves me at Kalos, wow how to start? I love France, and the French Cuisine of this game is full on, the 5th Gym is styled a lot like the Eifel tower, not only this but the style, and the looks, how each route has its own name, how not two cities or towns were the same, that Kalos finally had the forest before the 1st Gym, like Kanto and Hoenn, not only this, but Pikachu speaks! But aside of all of this, the starters were more original, Fennekin ended up being a fire/psychic type, something that is original, and I don't remember there ever being a dark type either, and water/dark suit my liking, theres also the founding of the Fairy Types, and it introduces Mega Evolution, and yeah a lot of the new Pokémon don't suit my appeal, yet I do love Sylveon, the new eveelution, and it also returns Pokémon from all other generations to this game, like Pidgey and the starters from Kanto, and Mareep and Miltank from Johto, Ralts and Skitty (that hasn't been seen in any before end of main story except for Hoenn and Kalos) from Hoenn, then theres Riolu (my favourite fighting type pokemon) from Sinnoh, and multitude from Unova, this has given me my decision...
