Hey guys. Green here with another school thread. Yeah, this week is gonna be harder than I expected. Why? Let me explain. I have lots of homework in Monday. I have Science, French, Arabic and Math. Now, why in School you are force to learn things even though you hate science per example? That just doesn't make sense, so hopefully I will be in University in the future... Why? Because you can pick on what to learn! If you're not interested in Math per example in University, you're not force to do it. In School, if you hate Math, you are FORCE to do it ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hey guys. Green here with another school thread. Yeah, this week is gonna be harder than I expected. Why? I think your school year would be harder for me than mine, and I'm 2 grades ahead of you XD You have to learn everything in school because it's the law. At my school, things are more complicated and difficult than they used to be (currently easy though) because it had to switch the curriculum that it teaches. Every teacher (and most likely every student) doesn't like it. I don't think your school expects you to be good at everything, but I know they expect you to try your best in everything. I started homework in the 2nd week of school and I got a lot of it at first, so I can relate to your current situation. I don't like Science either for the same reason you do (it's complicated). My science class this year, Intro to Physics, is so boring if my friends aren't making it fun. I don't think you should try your best to be active on Vizzed when you have exams. Sure, people will miss your large amount of activity, but it's for the best. Always remember that real life should come before Vizzed. I haven't had any tests to worry about yet, but I've barely been active during the school week because that's when I need to spend more time improving my real life and studying. I agree with you on school forcing you to take classes that you aren't even interested in. That is public school education for you and yet, they still throw it at everyone T_T. I am in college right now and colleges force you to take certain classes as part of their general education and core classes requirements for the first two years of undergraduate if you're not in one of those specialized colleges/universities. Sorry to crush your spirit in advance. ![]() Public school education seems to be getting more complicated and advanced from what I heard from others. They are giving you youngsters more work, requirements, and examinations that is just not even worth it. I heard that elementary school children from my state are learning pre-algebra from a friend who is a teacher. What has the world gotten into? How are you learning two languages at once? I took two languages in high school but I didn't expect middle school people to do the same as well o.O World War 7 sounds like a nightmare over there. A new grade and a new year can take some time to get used to and adapt into. Don't slack off and keep your head up. Remember that time management is the key! Bonne chance, Monsieur Luigi Vert! ![]() I am in college right now and colleges force you to take certain classes as part of their general education and core classes requirements for the first two years of undergraduate if you're not in one of those specialized colleges/universities. greenluigi : stop complaining. Just wait till later. It gets worse. In my school (grade 9) in just social studies alone. I have done 3 projects, a test and everyday we have to copy down a page of notes. In English we have to do a quick write every day and had a project to do in it. In science its lots of math that is harder than actual math class. In Math we have to put up with the worst teacher ever and ridiculously easy math questions. "Now, why in School you are force to learn things even though you hate science per example". This goes along with Math too. Subjects in school and university tie in with each other a lot. Mainly Math/Science for me. It's gonna be impossible to avoid math and live off of a 6th grade education in math. Since math may be the most important thing to learn. And at least you get classes for other languages. All we have is English, French and written Mandarin at my school. By Grade 10 you are allowed to pick your own courses, but you will still need certain ones if its the same as my high school. "Well I look up its summaries about each chapter so no reading yay" Doing that and "cheating isnt gonna get you very far and you will be in big trouble if they catch you. So i think you should try to do your work by yourself instead of looking the answers up Also, the "devolepment" in water isn't even complicated. And i think im horrible at Science and hate it. Just wait till you have to do things with Significant digits, distance/displacement etc... Some of your least favourite subjects in school can become your favourite subjects later. I HATED english class all through my life, but this year it is one of my favourite subjects for some reason. Same with art, in grade 7 i failed art and i hated it so much and guess what... its one of my favourite subjects. Math was my favourite subject for nearly my whole life and now i hate it because of the teacher and I just dont enjoy it like I used to anymore. Wow, Thanks for making my longest post every Green. lol In science its lots of math that is harder than actual math class.
