--Mine is PS3. I own it and the Wii and my cousin had an XBox 360 but I didn't like the controller. I like the exclusives for all consoles but the fact that PlayStation has way more exclusives that are good. (Uncharted, Crash and Spyro trilogy, FF7 through 10-2 and LBP) puts it ahead in my eyes. I do love Halo, Banjo, Conker, and Gears of War though and Xenoblade and Arc Rise Fantasia for the Wii are some of the best RPG's I've ever played.


To me PS3 takes the cake (I don't own a current gen system yet.).

The Wii was the console that I myself grew up playing. I have tons of memories with this console. So when I heard that the Wii-U was coming out, I was hyped beyond belief. Let me tell you, Nintendo really knows how to innovated. While some write off the tablet controllers as stupid and gimmicky, I really liked their creativity, and at least most games give you an option to use a standard Wii Remote (and Nunchuk) or a Pro Controller. Except for the tech-demos, but nobody plays those for longer than three hours anyway. And when I heard that I could play my old Wii games on my Wii-U? *fangasm*
Also, those of you who keep saying that the Wii-U doesn't have any games of its own, have you actually looked ANYWHERE past the abysmal launch library? If I had to complain about one thing, it's that the marketing team did a horrendous job of selling the console. Let's face it, the name "Wii-U" is by FAR the worst name they've come up with for a console. And no, I don't count the New 3DS.
The Wii-U is awesome. If you're regretting purchasing one, or haven't purchased one yet, let's just say your justification is coming soon. *cough* Smash Bros. *cough*

SavatoX : Yeah. I want a Wii U because I love my Wii but the truth is, most of the games I want that are on Wii U have 3DS versions, are HD versions of other games, or have much cheaper Wii prequels that I haven't gotten around to playing yet. I may pick it up in the future, for now though, I'm sticking to the 3DS and PS3 (I'm getting a PS4 for christmas)  It's kinda nice to see someone who actually likes the game pad. I tested it out and it was actually pretty fun to use and I think, if they made it a little smaller or changed the layout of it it could be much better.

Well I bought the X-Box 360.
I also got a first gen X-Box.

I purchassed the Playstation 1, N64, and SNES.

My N.E.S. was given to me by my parents as a Christmas gift.

Out of all of them I think My favourite was the Playstation 1.
Today?
I really do not have a preference. I just clicked on the 360 Icon to put a little traffic here and there.
Keep things interesting.
I may get a P.S.4. or go P.C. all the way. I still have not made up my mind on it.

the WiiU by far. It combines two awesome systems that contain classics such as mario, donkey kong, sonic and metroid. My favorite two games right now (wii) are Metroid: Other M and Sonic Colors. I really am hoping for an Other m-like metroid to come out on the wii u! Also can't wait to get my hands on Donkey kong Country Tropical Freeze.

FaithFighter : I really like how you can play Wii games on the WiiU. It seems like Nintendo is the only console maker who understands Backwards Compatibility.

scarlot : You know if you have a ps2, you can play ps1 games on it?

FaithFighter : True. You can with a PS3 as well but I'm talking about newer consoles. Compared to the PS4 and XBONE the WIIU is a better choice for backwards compatibility. Considering those games include Xenoblade, Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, etc: I believe that the WiiU is the best when it comes to playing previous generation titles.
