So, I made the right choice here, but the path is rough.
Anyone else been through this, I would welcome any advice to help make things easier.

I'm already feeling healthier, but these withdraws are a nightmare.

Congratulations on quitting smoking. It's hard, but you'll pull through. After all, you made it through 3 days, right? Once you get used to resisting the temptation, it will probably be a whole lot easier to refuse them.

Can't blame them. I've been pretty short tempered as of late.
Gotta just push through it though, and eventually I'll be free of this
I think I've even convinced my best friend to stop smoking as well, so that's a plus

Congratulations, dude. Screw cigarettes for reals. I'm glad now you get to save money and have a healthier lifestyle. Just don't do what so many others have done: getting back into the habit. It is much more difficult to quit the second time around and do not let peer pressure of your friends to get you to start smoking again. A lot of times in a social situation people aren't being jerks, they just want everyone to have the same fun but you must not give in because one puff is all it takes and that goes for hookah too, unless you've been off tobacco for at least 6 months that is.

I got one of the vapor pens, but I put no nicotine in it at all! That would be cheating :p
They actually have a fluid at the vapor shop here that has all the vitamins you need. They call it Chuck Norris
I'm getting my vitamins with it, and replacing the physical part of the smoking habit
It's really been working well for me.

My friend didn't stop smoking completely, but he did go to the vapor pen with nicotine fluids, which is an improvement at least.

I wish they had these back when my uncle was trying to stop smoking. Personally, I throw in my full support for these pens for people to quit smoking. There are quite a few medical arguments and controversies but I think the good outweigh the bad. One of my favorite things about vape pens is that not only is it a great alternative when they do not contain nicotine, it is easier to do tricks with the pens lol and it's cool to have one nowadays in social situations. It's like this: 

Dude 1: Ay guys me and and Dillon is going out for a smoke.
Dillon (outside): Yo check this piece out.
Dude 1: Damn dude I needa get one of those! I hear chicks dig the taste.
Dude 2 (coming out): Damn who's vape is that? I need to upgrade from cigs to that.

It is a win win situation for everyone...Assuming your circle hasn't adopted vapes. Anywho, I'm glad it is all working out for you and stay on this path as best you can bro.

Great job! I have been thinking about quitting since I've done it before, but for now I think I'm gonna stick with my cigs.
I used nicotine gum to quit and they worked for me like a dream. It took only a week or two after which I could be completely nicotine free. If it gets tough I recommend trying them out!

I hate the smell of cigarettes in general so grats to you!
I heard of people trying to quit something completely by using it less and less each day. It's hard to quit cold turkey. I give you props for avoiding it completely for now.

My advice is to you is to try distracting yourself by something else or try to replace your bad habit with something else that is more healthier in lifestyle.

I'm not sure if you're keeping track of the days you've been off, but keeping that day count from restarting is a pretty good motivator.

baileyface544 : Well how are you going so far? I have also made the choice to quit. It's not easy but it's worth it, for sure. Besides there are other options like the vapors,  In my opinion going for a run or doing some exercise to release endorphins and get the adrenaline flowing helps a lot.

Here are some congrats and well wishes from someone who has two smoking (as in, cigarette) parents. They both tried to quit, but relapsed many times. They're currently trying again now. It's tough, but they're pulling through, and i know you most certainly can too (how's that for a jungle?)!

I have never quit smoking, though I have never started either, but I do know what its like or what it could be like. Its going to be a very tough challenge, but you are going to have to try to fight through it knowing that you made the right choice. You are going to be feeling much better and even healthier soon, and we will always be here foe you while you run through the challenges. Congratulations and good luck.

baileyface544 : I've never smoked cigarettes myself honestly but i know that after a month or so you pretty much kill the craving for nicotine... You also improve the air flow to your lungs as well... 

The first week is always the hardest when trying to give up on something.... So just try and tough it out and try to keep yourself active and preoccupied so that the thought of smoking does not enter your mind... It will be tough there is no denying it.. But the results at the end of it will be totally worth it i promise you..

And that's not even mentioning the financial perks of quitting smoking either
