So, I have been trying to beat Challenge Mode 1 for Pac-Man Championship Edition for over a year now, off and on. Since I started trying trying again lately, probably starting a month or two ago, the best I could do was survive about 6 minutes and 32 seconds of the required 10 minutes. Then, yesterday, I made a breakthrough: I had just 51 seconds left when I lost my last life. Then, early this afternoon, I had 2 lives with 28 seconds left, and lost with 4 seconds left on the clock. However, I did beat my high score for Challenge Mode 1 by more than 100,000 in that attempt, getting a new high scores of 317,430. Then, just now, I did it. I finally did it. I beat it with a score of 309,340 and 2 lives left. 

I feel like a huge burden in the realm of video game related goals has been lifted off of my shoulders. 

What are some of your recent XBOX Achievements that you have been trying so hard for, and have just finally achieved after trying for so long?

I finally played a gen 3 pokemon game. I had previously forbidden playing anything past gen 2 because the pokemon franchise was on the downturn, but gen 3 was ok. I liked the puzzle aspect involved. It was a bit annoying at times though and it didnt begin to compare to the greatness that was gen 2. I was disappointed you couldnt go back into other regions like you could in gen 2. I was also disappointed that the gen 1 and 2 pokemon werent fully available at a certain point. Ill still take gen 1 over gen 3 though.

thing1 : um...that was an achievement! I really did beat other m in hard mode! I found all the items to achieve 100% item collection and unlocked it. And I beat it in hard mode! It wasn't easy either...not when you only have 99 units of energy and 10 missiles for the entire game!

Well it was a while ago now, but I finished playing Mass Effect 3 on the insanity setting, unlocking the 'Insanity' achievement. It was the last one I needed to get in the game, so I was pretty proud of it. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be, you just had to play the game more tactically, but I don't think I'll be playing on that setting again. lol
