Greetings to all Fire Emblem Fans!

So for those of you who played any Fire
Emblem game, every character in Fire Emblem, is assigned to a type of
class and play a special role to the game which have an impact on their
chance of surviving throughout the game.

I would choose to be a
thief because they can steal stuff and can be promoted to be an assassin
who have great speed to dodge and have a higher chance of performing
critical hits on enemies.

If you had to choose a type of class from Fire Emblem to start from, which one would you choose or want to be?

Guild Grandmaster.

Why? IIRC, Guild Grandmaster, along with the upgraded Lord classes have the highest stat totals of all the other classes.?

Guild Grandmasters, like tacticians have a good balance of offense, defense, and support, being able to learn ignis, which adds half of the other attacking stat to the attack stat being used, Solidarity, which grants +10 dodge/crit to adjacent units, and Rally Spectrum, which gives nearby units +4 to all stats (besides move) for 1 turn. And Veteran is, in a way, like Aptitude, because you get large stat gains, although you need to be partnered up with another unit.

...and if a unit can be reclassed into Tactician/promoted to Guild Grandmaster, then that unit can be reclassed in to just about EVERY CLASS IN THE GAME (that unit can't become a Lord/Great Lord, unless the unit is a Female Avatar-Mothered Lucina, a Dancer, or a Conquerer. ...Or Grima) because the unit is either the Avatar yourself, or your children. Any who doesn't love themselves or their children?

I'm with you on the thief
The ability to steal is always useful
and though the assassin isn't the most powerful unit all around
If you're willing to roll the dice, they can sometimes end fights very quickly

While there are most defiantly stronger classes out there, it's still one of my favorites
And when Silencer/Lethality triggers on a very tanky enemy, it always puts a big smile on my face

I would have to go with Pirate, remembering my fun times with Ross, he quickly became the most OP character in the game for me.  I leveled him, Amelia and Ewan up during the game, but found myself more relying on the crutch of Ross.  I leveled him up to be a pirate to become a berserker, man was he OP.. I beat the boss using him and Garm almost exclusively and he seemed to wreck just about everything.  Give me a Swordreaver, Killer Axe and Garm and I'll be one happy Pirate/Berserker.

But of course you can't win the game all by yourself.  I was actually very close to choosing Myrmidon because of Joshua, Adhulma was a beautiful weapon and becoming a Swordmaster was just fun.  Sure being a Thief or getting Josh to the assassin role is fun because of their ability, but i dont know,  I like swordmasters better.

Why are we all hating on the Berserkers? They are pretty amazing, and their design is by far the best in the GBA games. I love these guys.

My favorite class... it would have to be a thief, because of their AWESOME promoted class. Also my avatar is almost to FE12 avatar standards!
