Alright, welcome to the Official Thread for the Vizzed Pick 'Em 2014 Competition. If you are not in it this year, well, you had 5 weeks to sign-up, and if this goes well, there is always next year.

Now, I am sure that most of you know the rules, but there are going to be some changes for the regular season, so make sure you actually read the rules, and don't just skim over them. ( Also, if you want to favorite the thread, go ahead. But regardless of if you do or do not, you will still get summons every week; Probably 2 - 4, depending on how things work out )

Rules And Notes:
~ Records will be percentage based. (
~ Deadline to make your predictions will be at noon of the day of the game. If you edit your post after a game has already happened, and MattyIce has not documented whether or not you have won or lost the game, you will automatically lose the game.
~ MattyIces's Note: Remember it will be okay to change your predictions even if you have already posted them, just as long as it is BEFORE the deadline, which I stress again is at 12:00 noon server time ( also remember server time is CST, so this is 1:00 PM EST, 11:00 AM MST, and 10:00 AM PST on the day of the game). Do NOT make a new post if you want to change anything. Just edit your old post.
~ If a game results in a tie, it counts as a loss for everybody.
~ If there is a tie in participants records at the end of the season, then there will be a random coin flip done in chat to determine who gets the higher seeding.
~ The 12 participants will be randomly divided into 2 " Conferences " . Your standings in these Conferences at the end of the Regular Season will determine what seed you are for the Playoffs.
~ There are 3 ways to earn Viz during the regular season: Best record each week, a surprise game being guessed correctly each week, and a set surprise category. We will not reveal the set surprise category until somebody figures out the set one on their own. If they figure it out, we will confirm it if it is correct.
~ There will be prizes based off your performance during the regular season, and their will also be prizes based off your performance during the Playoffs.
~ There is no fee required to be eligible for the above Viz rewards each week, but it is encouraged that you send MattyIce 5,000 Viz each so that we can keep this going throughout the entire season.
~ Do not post here if you are not part of the NFL Pick 'Em Competition. If you want to sign up, you will have to wait until next year, However, if you have any questions, then feel free to send me or MattyIce in a message asking those questions. If you post here, and are not part of the competition, I will report you for spamming.

New Rules / Ways to Earn Viz:
~ If you get a perfect record for a week, then you get a Viz bonus. If a game ends and a tie, which gives you a loss for your record, but you would have gotten a perfect record for the week otherwise, you will still get the Viz reward.
~ You can PM your picks to me or MattyIce, but they will not count unless they are posted in this thread.

Megamanmaniac came out on top, after I briefly held first during week 2. Overall, the results did not change to much throughout the Pre - Season, but 1 or 2 people did go up and down a lot, especially Kruzer, since he did not start until Week 2.

Alright, so it is finally time to get down to business. As I mentioned, all 12 participants will be divided into 2 " Conferences " at random. I had all the names in a list. MattyIce had a random number generator. Each time somebody was picked, their name was taken out, and the range was lowered by 1. There was never any shuffling after the first pick, but all of the participants were shuffled 8 times before the first pick. Here is the order of how everybody was picked.
