http://www.tabforacause.org/?r=11041479

So someone posted this cool page on the Facebook page for my college's incoming freshman class. It's called Tab for a Cause, and it's this really great extension that allows you to earn money in the form of hearts that you can then donate to various charities! When you download the extension it makes the Tab for a Cause page open every time you (you guessed it) open a new tab.

Every time you open a new tab you get a "heart" and after collecting hearts you level up, and you can donate them tooooo...

- Human Rights Watch
- International Peace Institute
- The Foundation to Decrease Worldsuck
- Save the Children
- Conservation International
Etc.

And it's TOTALLY discreet, doesn't bother you with pop ups, and doesn't make your computer lag in any way. Plus you can still customize your new homepage to have links to all your most used websites! So yeah! Just thought I'd make a thread about this really cool thing.

Well that's actually pretty great. My family tries to give what we can when we can to charity. I will keep this on from now on and let others know about it too. I'm really impressed. Thanks.

Normally, something that is advertised that isn't really much benefiting Vizzed like the charity you mentioned isn't really allowed, but it is allowed in the Web Splurge forum so I'll move this thread there instead.

But anyways, I still think personally that this is in fact a good charity that is going on in that link though.

That actually sounds pretty cool. I wonder why none of my schools ever did anything like this.
