The title says it all. I was born in a hutterite coloney, left for religious reasons, and therefor was born speaking German. I learned Russian so my friend and I could talk to each other privately, I also speak a little French and spanish. The funny thing is, I can't spell them, just say them.

I can speak Japanese on an intermediate level now. I have been studying for about six years, can read about 900 kanji, write about 500, have been to the country 3 times so far, can read intermediate level novels (just about finished with one now), and can play Japanese version RPGs without too much trouble.

It was required for us to take Spanish for 2 years at school. I forgot (shame shame). Right now I'm learning German, it's quite funnny when talking to German exchange students cause they say Squirrel funny. Hehe...but that's to me.
