" Never ever touch the chicken "
My mom just hated whenever someone would touch her fried chicken before the rest of the dinner was made. My dad had a very bad habit of doing that and thus the kids started to follow in his footsteps. 
I became a chicken thief, but only for a short while. However, my brothers continued to follow our dad's footsteps.
Those poor chickens.

Weird rules? Hmm, my family doesn't have many rules in my household but ones thing for sure. If my doors locked don't pry it open. It really upsets me and when my door is locked like ever there is usually a reason. My sister never respects me or my privacy. I wish I had a set of rules that I could actually force her to follow but meh.

"Soda can only be drunken between the hours of 11 AM - 6:23 PM" why the 23 lol and if i get a polar pop and don't finish it I'm screwed because I hate de carbonated soda and melted ice >.>

"The guys in the house can't game on monday and thursday" My mom has never explained this, only my sister and mom can game on monday and thursday, I really don't get it...

"if swear on sunday, you have to put a dollar in the bible" I don't have to follow this one I guess it's a religious thing...

"If I don't like the music you're listening too, you have to listen to 80's rock with me for an hour" My mom is just weird....

"No shrek movies" This rule was added when I showed my mom "shrek is love" she thought it was official >.<

Mine is kind of like "Don't touch the chicken."

But it's more like "Be at the table when I all or else" That's not weird in itself but it pisses my mom off really bad if you're late AT ALL.

That and she has a rule about "don't close your door". That again isn't weird in itself but it's when I'm completely alone and I have the door closed and she flips.

I don't really have a lot of weird ones to be honest, but I have always hated a few of these rules: 

- I am not allowed to play video games during a school week, even if all my work is done ( thankfully it is summer now, but I still hate this rule)
- I am also not allowed to go on walks around the neighborhood at all ( I can kind of see why this rule was put into place, but I really do enjoy taking a walk, so this sucks. 

So as you can see I don't have a lot of serious or annoying rules in my house, but these two are just a little weird or pointless to me. I shouldn't really be griping though because I would say I have it pretty easy.

It's not an official rule, but when my mom goes to the bathroom, most of the time we are not allowed from her to be on the same floor XD Other than that, we don't have a lot of rules, my mom bosses around and sometimes say that we never do what she says (which is sometimes true sadly).
