He told I was wrong, but hinted that maybe if I asked him in his ask anything thread, he might reveal it. I figured since people only really look at the answers to the questions, it would be alright to make a thread about it. Now that we finally have a definitive answer.

PacmanandMariofan : yeah, that is why I always got confused. I did not know about the random number thing, so I thought your word count had to have something to do with a combination of a minimum post amount too.

I thought it had to be something like that. I think Singelli helped my thought process because I believe she had back to back days when she was on fire. One day it was at 55 give or take posts and the second time it was like 120 give or take. And I guess that means it doesn't matter how many words you have.

Personally, I probably have no chance of ever getting it. I think my current personal best of posts in a day is like 35 give or take, and I remember that I was constantly on Vizzed all day, and it was one of my off days.

(So for example: if he made 55 posts before he went inactive, his username will ignite if that random number for the fire username is 55 posts or less) His Italic username that resulted from the spree he had done will never reset unless he logs on again, thus effecting the fire username. I think.

I always figured that name on fire thing was in relation to lots of posts at one time.  I always relate it to NBA Jam where when you get three shots in a row the announcer says HE'S ON FIRE.  I never would have guessed there was a RNG in there though.  In case you are wondering RNG = Random Number Generator.

I kind of already knew this I went on fire on different occasions but it was during TDV month. I was pretty sure it had to do with post count. Word count just didn't really seem to make sense to me.
