Okay so this is kind of funny yet annoying at times. A while back I was getting a bowl of cereal well I ended up putting the cereal in the fridge instead of sitting it back on the shelf where it belongs. My sister ended up putting the milk in the cabinet and one time when she was going to get cereal she was getting ice out of the fridge and then shes like what in the world am I doing I need cereal not ice haha. Earlier today I was eating some chicken and I was getting some honey mustard out of the fridge.. when I put it back I put it in the freezer and didn't even know it until later when I opened the freezer to get ice for a drink. I think these things only happen when we have a lot on our mind or are focused on doing something else instead of what we are actually do at that moment.


So what about you has this ever happened to you?

Yeah, I will do that sometimes. I usually have my laptop on and my XBOX 360 on at the same time, so I need my T V remote as well. I prefer to use a mouse for my laptop. 

So the other day I have my XBOX 360 controller in my hand, and I am need to do something on my laptop, so I put the controller down, and grab the mouse. I do what I need to do. Then, I pick up my T V remote like it's my XBOX 360 Controller and almost rage when I can not figure out why it isn't working. So, I grabbed my mouse, trying to mess with the TV, because I thought it has frozen. By the time I had realized what was going on, I had been screaming for a good 2 or 3 minutes, just straight rage mode, and my aunt is laughing histarically at my door, before she finally tells me. - _ -

This happens to me sometimes but not a lot. Like a few days I go I tried to put the cereal in the fridge. I figured out it did not go in there when it would not fit.
 
There was also a time I tried to put the pepsi in the place we put our cups, plates, that sort of thing.
 
When I was younger I did something even worse than that though and this happened a few times. One time I was going to put my cup in the sink but I accidentally put it in the trash can. Luckily we found it though before we took out the trash.

It happens to me every once in a while, but not that much. My life has become such a routine lately, I don't even lose common things like car keys or the TV remote. There is absolutely nothing special going on in my life right now. But I do have a funny story to tell about my mom when she misplaced the TV remote one time.

Okay so we got home from eating out at a restaurant one time, and I wanted to turn on the TV because the Falcons football game was about to start. I quickly glanced around for the remote and couldn't find it, so I had to push the button on the TV itself to turn it on. I told my mom that I couldn't find the remote, and I remember she had been the last on to use it. Long story short, we looked everywhere for it for like an hour and could not find it. I eventually opened the fridge to get something to drink, and there it was. Yep, in the fridge. My mom had accidentally put the TV remote in the fridge. I don't know how that happened, but it happened XD

It's hard for me to put things in the wrong place because I make sure everything is in the right place to begin with, being a perfectionist~

Yeah, it feels like I constantly do this at home. I'd be putting something away, then my brain just completely shuts off and I put it somewhere else, or I just walk around the house with the object in my hand.

Yes, sometimes, ill accidentally put ice cream in the refrigerator or a dirty plate in the cabinet xD.

One time I poured the orange juice in my Honey Bunches of Oats cereal and poured my milk in the glass cup. It was suppose to be the other way around, it was 4 in the morning so I was really tired. I didn't noticed that I have done that until I got to my room to sit down and put a spoon full in my mouth. I jumped a little but continued eating it cause I was really hungry, when I got to the fifth spoon that's when I couldn't eat anymore and just forced myself up to do it right this time.

Yeah, every now and then, I end up putting things in the wrong place when I'm not trying to pay attention. Sometimes, when I make chocolate milk, I try to put the milk in the cabinet, and I sometimes put ice cream in the fridge pr cabinet shelf when I get ice cream.

Yeah, I once put my dog in a toy box when it was a puppy XD I put the toy (I forgot what toy it was, I was 9 and forgetful) it would've been in there for the weekend, but thank god it barked and whined, or else we may have lost the dog sooner

I have put stuff in the wrong place rarely from time to time about 2-4 times a year.

I almost placed my lunch box in the trash, and one time, almost put it in the refrigerator. I even almost put my water bottle which was full right in the trash.
I am not sure why I ever rarely get messed up. It sometimes happens when I am fully awake too and not tired.

Yeah. I usually do this whenever I am really tired. I usually end up going to put cereal back in the fridge or milk back into the pantry. I really have got to focus more. Though it can be difficult to manage whenever one is tired. 

I tend to misplace things sometimes on very rare occasions, when it comes to cleaning my room, there isn't technically a correct place for something, but I will move things around to my liking. 

More than anything else though, I misplace groceries and food items, I know where everything goes and all, but if I get distracted, I might end up putting the milk in a cabinet instead of the fridge for instance. Other times, it is little silly stuff, like maybe throwing something away that wasn't supposed to be, or I might just zone out completely and put something in a completely different location. 

For the most part though, when it comes to routine items like my keys, my phone, 3ds or anything like that, it is just routine for me and I do my absolute best not to misplace it. 

Altogether, I rarely misplace things.
