Hey guys. Green is here with another thread. As you can see, I'm a huge Donkey Kong fan. I played DK country 1, 2 and 3.  Never played DKC returns or tropical freeze. In this forum, there is only THREE DK threads. I'm surprised to see after 10 years, they are few Donkey Kong fans. So I was thinking to do a Donkey Kong forum so I can say the latest news about it. What do you guys think? Should I first get permission to do this? Tell me in the comments!

If there isn't much love for it here, I don't see the point in a whole forum.
One, you'd have to wait until some forum gets auctioned, as buying forums is no longer an option (at least at the moment).

Two, like you stated, there's low amount of DK fans out here. Making a forum just for a few to post it would be pointless, and only attract post count++-on-any-opportunity-people.

There are only three ways I could see this happening:

1. You somehow manage to work with some people to buy a private forum from someone else and it actually gets changed. 
2. Donkey Kong suddenly becomes insanely popular, and receives a dedicated forum along the likes of Pokemon. 
3. New private forums go up for sale. 

Any of these options seems unlikely, and difficult. I also can't really see the viability in a private forum due to the low number of people on here that value things that are not Pokemon, Zelda, or Final Fantasy. I would see the Donkey Kong forum as a cool thing, but it simply would not garner enough attention, nor is there a broad enough array of topics within Donkey Kong to sustain the forum, unlike a number of other subjects.

I agree with Furret.    If there are only three threads here after ten years, it's probably for a reason.  Unfortunately, sometimes we fall in love with something and nobody else seems to agree.  I bought a forum for what I thought would be a brilliant idea. However, it wasn't loved and so I decided to pass it on to someone else in the case that they could find a better use for it.  Just because I adore something doesn't mean I can force anyone else to. XD

As cool as a Donkey Kong forum would be, I do not think it would get enough attention to be worth your Viz. I mean, I had an Armed Forces Forum at one point, and it received good feedback while I was trying to figure out what it would ultimately be, but it did not get very much activity in it. 

Speaking of which... I want to play Donkey Kong 64 now...

I think a Donkey kong forum would not be a good idea since we already have a video game forum to put stuff like video games.
 
I personally think the video game rented forums are not needed since we already have a place where they go. Well I think the minecraft forum is okay.
